The centerpiece of Olympic Valley is the Squaw Valley Resort, a ski resort spread across six picturesque mountain peaks. Follow hiking trails through the colourful alpine meadows of the Granite Chief Wilderness. Rent a bike to explore the family-friendly cycling trails along the Truckee River. Play a round of disc golf, which is a combination of frisbee and miniature golf.

Reach Olympic Valley by flying to Reno-Tahoe International Airport and then rent a car to get to the town and other areas of Lake Tahoe. Olympic Valley is a short drive from the beaches of Tahoe State Recreation Area, including Hurricane Bay.
