"Exactly as advertised. Beautiful country grounds with variety of colorful plants and shrubs. Steven responded quickly to all my pre-stay messages and was present to assist on check in. Room was immaculate and very well stocked, plus the price was more than reasonable! In Hudson for a wedding and only stayed one night, but would definitely come back. I did speak with the rooster and chickens located well behind the property to keep the noise down in the morning, but realized my "speaking fowl" was a bit rusty."

"This was probably the most wonderful placeI have ever rented. Description is very underplayed. It has a spectacular porch. The apartment is so artistically and tastefully decorated. The unexpected surprise fresh baked treats were amazing."

"Didn't realize how small it would be. Didn't know what unit number was ours. Had a hard time using tv.. don't do Dish and reg remote wasn't easy to figure out. Door didn't lock from inside. Set AC at 73, fan ran all nite, but temp didn't drop."

"Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would still give this property five stars because of what mattered most to us: the location and the land. The setting is beautiful, and our dogs absolutely loved exploring the property. We spent our time walking the grounds, relaxing outdoors in the peaceful setting. We also really enjoyed the bright, welcoming living room and its comfortable sofas.perfect spot to watch the World Cup final!There are a few areas that could be improved. Much of the house felt sparsely and oddly furnished. The sunroom is lovely, but the bench seating with plastic-style cushions wasn’t comfortable, and another room contained only a couch, making it feel unfinished.A big issue was the primary bedroom mattress. The king mattress was severely caved in on one side and essentially unusable. I’m shocked it is being rented with it. The bedroom we used also had no bedside lamps; fortunately, I found one in a closet. While the kitchen, sunroom, and downstairs bathroom are nicely renovated, the house felt quite dark during the day, especially the kitchen. We were also surprised that no firewood was provided for the fireplace or fire pit given the nightly rate.Finally, communication with the management company, Avant, was slow and unhelpful when we reached out about a checkout change and early check-in. That likely reflects the management company rather than the homeowner.With a few updates and better management support, this could be an exceptional rental."

"The place exceeded expectations. Clean, cute space. Roomier than expected. Hot tub was on and at a good temperature. The Main Street with restaurants and bars is literally a 4 minute walk, yet the house feels secluded in a good way. Really enjoyed our stay."
