Perfect holiday
Our holiday in Croatia was fantastic. The house was very clean and the garden was so full of fruits and vegetables. We had a warm welcome from Fabjana and her husband. And she was always happy to help giving precious advice. Thanks a lot

Perfect for family holiday..
The house is as described, set in a secluded Croatian valley, with gardens and orchards alongside. The produce from the gardens was available and the children enjoyed seeing where the things they normally only see on a supermarket shelf actually come from! The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 3 kitchens(!) - which made cooking easy wherever we were.. It also has a splendid outdoor barbeque oven, which we used to make one of the best meals we had during our holiday - accompanied by cucumber, pepper and courgettes from the garden. All the rooms are comfortable, and the house is very well equipped with all the facilities that make it a home from home. The pool is clean and was very well used by the children and adults in our party alike. Fabjana and Milan were splendid and very friendly hosts and gave us some great restaurant tips - very handy for Omis, as there are quite a lot to choose from! We would recommend the House of Green Experience to anyone looking for a peaceful holiday away from the crowds, but with all the comforts of home available, in a beautiful country which I am certain will become more and more popular as a travel destination in the years ahead.

A happy holiday
We were given a wonderful welcome, despite arriving late in the evening. A lovely friendly house in a very beautiful area. Very peaceful and quiet, but near a lovely bakery, restaurant and shops. Also only a short drive to Omis, a pretty town with beautiful beaches. We had a very happy 10 days.

Fantastic feel good holiday
House - Very private and peaceful - the only traffic is the occasional farmer passing by who sometimes stopped to give us some produce. The views are amazing and the walking opportunities from the house are fantastic, but be prepared to climb a bit. The views are worthwhile though, across the Cetina Canyon and also up the coast, over to the islands and the valleys up towards Split. The house itself is great - there is a separate upstairs and downstairs, so depending on your party there is extra privacy if you want it. It also means there are plenty of kitchens - one in each part of the house as well as one by the outside wood fired oven, which we also used as a BBQ. Comfortable beds, well appointed rooms, well kitted out kitchens. The pool and garden are lovely. The pick your own fruit & veg as it became ready was fantastic - tomatoes, courgettes, peppers, melons, peaches, strawberries, plums. Not quite ready were aubergines, potatoes, sweetcorn. Naklice - What a great little village community. We chose the house because it was remote, thinking if we wanted to eat out of an evening it would mean one of us driving, however, there is a little club by the church where the Croatian version of boules is played, and on match nights you can get drinks, including beers as well as Ice Creams. There is also the Konoba Palacio just opposite the top of the Omis footpath which was great. We had drinks there as well as two meals. The owner/chef is a very friendly chap who speaks limited English, but good German. The food was great too - especially the seafood risotto. Also, within 30 minutes walk is the Seosko Imanje in Trusa. The walk is lovely through the woods and the setting is fantastic. Food great - they do the local speciality of Soparnik as well as Peka - have both they are delicious. Because they are so remote, you struggle to just walk in and order - you need to order at least a day in advance. There is also a cafe at Tugare on the main road which we walked to regularly as the bakery next door does great pastries. Little supermarket next door too. Activities - Walking amazing and endless opportunities! Boating and rafting highly recommended. People - Friendly, generous, amusing. Fabjana and Milan are brilliant hosts - a great balance of being there without intruding. Contact was easy and with quick responses. We were very well looked after and will be returning for sure. Can't recommend highly enough.

5 days in paradise
We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) and we stayed in Fabjana and Milan house for 5 wonderful days. We had a warm welcome from them, the offered to us delicious appetizer with fruits and vegetables from their garden. They are passionate about the region and they answered to all of our questions. The house was pristine clean and well equiped to cook. The overall garden is peaceful with a great view on the mountains. We went hiking, visited the Catina river & Omis beach, relaxed around the pool and enjoyed our dinners under the porch. We even cooked a Peka in the exterior BBQ. There is a small market and bakery in the closeby village and you reach Omis in 10 minutes by car. It is hard to explain how good we felt in this house but we can say that it was the best part of our vacations in Croatia. Thank you Fabjana and Milan! Unfortunatelly for us we didn't spend time with you as we wish (cooking time) because my husband has guilty conscience after he saw the picture of Peka with sausages in it! (hahaha!) :) So he is in a quest to repete this dish by you grilling and preparing the fire he as a meat chooser (hahaha!!!) Relaxing and privat holiday
Booking and payment was easy and without problems. We arrived Split by plane (from Norway) and rent a car. After a 45 minute drive we reached the house, it is ok to find with the directions. We were welcomed by the owner (with some snacks) some showed us around. The house is big, nice and clean. There is an Appartement for 2 on the first floor but our teenage boy decided to sleep on the sleeping couch upstairs. You find everything you need in the house. There is air conditioning in the kitchen/living room, but not in the bedrooms. So the nights could be quite warm. The pool and garden is just wonderful and we had such a great time. The location is private, in the outside of the little village of Naklice with only one neighbor. One lovely restaurant within walking distance, all other places (including supermarkets) you reach by car. It was possible to order in pizza. The owner was very helpful and answered all kinds of questions throughout our stay. We really recommend this place, we had a great experience.

the best choice if you like silence and privacy
We spent a wonderful holiday here. Wonderful house and garden with delicious fruits and vegetables which is in abundance. Fabjana and Milan where very friendly and helpful. The house is Located in a beautiful area with a view of the mountains. Great placement close to Split, Trogir or Brela, while also being close to the beach and the amazing Cetina river We would also recommend a boat cruise by Kairos, the host helped us book him Thank you for a wonderful stay

Schönes abgelegnes Ferienhaus
Wir wurden herzlich von den Vermietern empfangen. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet. Es sind zwei separate Wohnungen. Toller Pool und der Garten ebenso. Wir durften uns im Garten bedienen und hatten somit frisches Gemüse und frisches Obst, was sehr lecker war. Zum Strand haben wir 8-10 Minuten mit dem Auto gebraucht. Direkt am Strand gab es Parkplätze. Das einzige was zu bemängeln ist war der Weg zum Haus da die Straße dahin eng und nicht wirklich eine Straße sondern eher eine Gasse war. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
