"Great location! Very quiet and cute spot in the Redwoods! The pub was a great spot for a bite. We had the a Barbecue Burger and the Chichen Phil-thy - both were yummy! We would stay again!"

"This historic Inn is beautiful and really cozy and charming with excellent service. The restaurant has good options, they offer a free tea service in the afternoon and free coffee in the mornings. Free parking the rooms are very well appointed uncomfortable with nice linens and towels. Beautiful views from every room of the surrounding mountains and river. Definitely a bargain! For the quality & the service levels. "

"We had a wonderful stay at The Black Sands Inn. The property's direct access to the beautiful beach was a huge plus, offering stunning views and perfect opportunities for tide pooling and beachcombing. The hot tub was a definite highlight—it was incredibly clean and relaxing with its great views, strong jets, and comfortable seats. We also appreciated the convenience of having several good restaurants located nearby. We are hoping to stay longer next time to explore more."

"The cottage was delightful! We loved the location right in the center of town. There’s an organic grocers just across the street, which was really convenient. The beds were clean and comfy, even the trundle bed was comfortable. The backyard is full of fruit trees. We ate a couple of ripe plums. It was easy to find (great directions)."

"Me, my wife and our 4 year old son had a wonderful 3-night stay here. Samantha and her family were very nice and accommodating and she was very responsive to any questions or requests we had. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to swim in the river by the property due to toxic algae, but we still enjoyed the beach and the tranquility of it all. The beds were comfy, showers with plenty of warm water and a stocked kitchen with anything you’d need to make a meal; not to mention walking out the door to a grove of ancient redwoods!! It truly was a little slice of Heaven. We would definitely stay again if we’re back in the area. "
