"When we pulled back the covers we saw that the sheets were stained along with a spider crawling on it. We showed this to the desk staff who brought in new sheets and my husband and I had to change the sheets due to she was the only one working. She did offer to go ahead and make the bed for us really quickly but my husband told her to never mind that he and I will do it. She did say that she would make a note of our complaint which I’m unsure what that actually meant because it obviously didn’t mean we would be getting a discount off of the room, since that certainly didn’t happen."

"Awesome place to stay, It has a very nice dock to park your boat and the place has its own private ramp. Very nice fish cleaning station to clean your catch when you return from a hard day of fishing or scolloping. Jump in the pool after a hot day to cool off. I would recommend this place to anyone. 10/10 stay/experience!!!"

"We had a lovely long weekend here and the stay was perfect for our purposes. The property was clean, conveniently located near the boat ramp, and had all the amenities we needed. I especially appreciated the fenced backyard for my dog.Communication around check in was a little confusing but we were ultimately able to get settled in without issue. One thing future guests may want to be aware of is that a nearby property has several dogs and we experienced fairly loud barking between about 6:30–7:00am each morning during our stay. It may have just been temporary, but it could impact lighter sleepers or anyone hoping to sleep in."

"There was a mouse inside the property.We only saw one at a time but there was probably more than one.It even crawled on my foot while going to the restroom."

"We recently stayed at this VRBO in Steinhatchee and overall had a great experience. One thing to note is that while the listing advertised boat parking and an ice machine, we initially expected those to be directly on the property. We later realized the boat parking is actually located at the campsite next door. Once we got that sorted out, everything worked out much better.The house itself was very clean, well-kept, and comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay after long days out on the water. Overall, despite the initial confusion about the boat parking, we had a great time and would consider staying here again."
