The breakfast option was extraordinary, a private banquet of traditional Japanese dishes. The hot spring is beautiful, a rock pool flowing with healing water, always available. It is right on the Hida River which brings a soft tranquility. The walk into town is short, 15 or 20 minutes brings you to the center of town, with many dining options, temples and shrines. A truly memorable and relaxing experience."

The location of the ryokan is within walking distance to the town and close to the train station. Hotel provides a bus shuttle to the train station. From the train station to the hotel, there is also a complimentary ride. I had a very pleasant stay at the ryokan and highly recommend it. "
