A wonderful stay in one of Opatija’s most charming historic villas. The Belle Époque architecture gives the hotel a unique elegance, and its location next to St. Jacob’s Church and park, just steps from the Lungomare, is simply perfect. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. A great advantage is that guests can also enjoy the facilities of the nearby Amadria hotels, including the beach, swimming pool, and several excellent restaurants. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options. A perfect choice for anyone looking for a relaxing stay that combines history and comfort.

The best hotel in Opatia. Must go hotel if you seek a comfort, a great hospitality, a quiet place, a short distance to the beaches etc. An excellent relax place in Croatia.

We enjoyed our stay, with a comfortable room, very good breakfast and lovely and helpful staff. However, it is very confusing to even find the hotel, we stay in over 30/yr, and even harder to find the reception. The parking is actually in another hotel, all in all, signage and general description needs improving, hotel itself is great.

We had a very pleasant stay overall. Our room was very clean, and we were happy to receive an upgrade. What stood out most was the cleanliness and attentiveness of the staff. The housekeeping gentleman even made little animals out of the towels after noticing that we were staying with our daughter - such a thoughtful touch that made the stay feel more personal. We had everything we needed and felt very well looked after. The breakfast buffet offered a very good variety of food. However, one thing was quite disappointing for a 5-star hotel: there were mouldy raspberries and blackberries on the buffet, as well as stale salad leaves. I really don’t understand why visibly spoiled food would be put out for guests at all, especially at a hotel of this standard. We also had an a-la-carte dinner at the hotel. The choice was much more limited, particularly for vegetarians. There were only a few vegetarian options, and one of them was not available when we dined there. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and were particularly impressed by the cleanliness, thoughtful housekeeping and attentive service. With better quality control at the breakfast buffet and a wider, more reliable selection of vegetarian dishes at dinner, the experience would have been excellent.
