"I put State from May 14 through May 16. I requested a handicap accessible room upon my arrival. I was told that there were none and that I had to take a room upstairs but it was right there just climb the stairs. It’s right there. Well that was the second lie I went back downstairs to the front desk and let another young lady know that that room was not going to work for me so she booked me into a room on the first floor that the other young lady said they didn’t have went into that room unpacked and realized that their air conditioner wasn’t working so I’ll let the front desk know they gave me another room around the back of the hotel on the first floor the keys wouldn’t open the door had to go back around the hotel to the front desk and let them know they gave us another room. Keys did not open the door went around to the front desk again they gave us another room so finally we could open the door, the room was clean, and unlike the first unlike the second room, they put us in which smell like an old dirty ashtray. on the evening of the 15th went to our room the key would not work had to go around the hotel to the front desk. They gave us another key went to the back of the hotel. The key did not work went to the front of the hotel to the desk again and they said that someone would come and unlock the door for us. Someone be on the 15th when we left the hotel to take care of some business upon our return went to our room. The key would not work went back to the front desk t"

"My one star rating is only due to room #116 having a terrible dank smell of mold. I checked in around 10:30PM and walked into #116, I was not expecting a strong smell as I've stayed at this property before within the last six months. I was in my room for about an hour and by now with a bad headache that I decided to go to the front desk and ask if I could switch to any available room. She told me she only had #124 available so together we walked into #124 and that room also had a dank, dark mold smell thought not quite as bad as more attempted to cover up it up with the hotel's air fragrance system (great more chemicals to breath in). Since it was getting to be midnight and there weren't anymore rooms available, I tried to make it work but my headache due to toxic indoor air was just getting worse. I finally got up around midnight, gathered my things and left the hotel in search of another place to stay for the night. A request for the franchise property owner, remove the carpet from the guest rooms. I know it's a huge undertaking and very expensive project however you're making your employees and guests sick just by staying or working in the guest rooms. The hotel is nearly sold out/sold out most nights and your location off of I-10 has many company paying oil & gas industry clientele, so you have revenue. Yes, I understand the irony of unclean air and the oil & gas industry but the fact remains that these two rooms smell terrible."

"The place isn’t too bad for the price. It was clean and the beds were fairly comfy. We did initially get assigned a dirty room but that was a quick fix. First night there someone else was checked into our room and tried to get in and at about 2 am the front desk lady is banging on the door screaming something about a security check. Other than the the day staff was friendly. "

"I wanted to stay the night to break up a long drive, and we got in late. I was given the wrong room layout from what I reserved (1 bed instead of 2), and when they realized their mistake, then called me back to the main lobby and gave me another room that was already occupied. The building is in disrepair, with broken exterior doors that do not shut, broken interior glass, broken safety room locks, and evidence of severe water damage and white mold. The property did not refund my reservation after I refused for them to re-room me a third time, and I honestly believe they needed the money more than I did. There are at least three other hotels within walking distance that are of a much better quality than this one."
