Spacious, cosy & comfortable, with the perfect backyard for entertaining, we are sure you'll love staying in this wonderful home with family and friends.

Our home has a fully ducted reverse cycle air conditioning for all year round comfort. There is also a wood burner in the main living area to enjoy a glass of wine by in the cooler months.

Free street parking only (always plenty of spaces out front)

High quality, fresh linen is included for your stay.

The home is well equipped with coffee, tea, sugar, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and cleaning supplies.

Guests will have access to the entire home for the duration of their stay.

The Neighborhood:
We are conveniently located 2 blocks from the main street on a stunning heriatge and tree lined street.

The best way to discover all this town has to offer is to walk. Stroll to 'Groundstone Cafe' for one of the best breakfasts, or grab a coffee to go at the very popular Cafe window 'Crema on Lords'.
Walk to the monthly Farmers Market at 'Northcourt' behind the Orange Library, or take the family for play at Robertson park. You can even stroll up to Cook Park, about a 15-20 minute walk from our home - here you can feed the ducks, admire the gorgeous gardens, visit the guildry and simply, relax.

After a great day out walk to dinner at Mr Lims Korean, Birdie, The Schoolhouse @ The Union Bank, Sweet Sour Salt or head for a drink at the Parkview or the Canobolas Hotel - nothing is too far from this prime location!!

Some of our best wineries and cellar doors are as close as 10 minutes by car.

Excellent accommodation in Orange

Very clean and comfortable; well supplied; good location - easy walk to main street and shopping; a variety of places to visit and experience close by. Highly recommend a visit to Orange and a stay at Barton House.

Located so close to Main Street for short walk for restaurants and cafes. Gas heating made the whole place really cozy.

Wonderful place to stay

Barton house was in a great location, close walking distance to the Main Street, the beds were very comfortable, We were spoilt by the large showerheads and water pressure. We had rather hot weather but the air conditioning made our stay very comfortable . We would happily book again.

Lovely house in convenient location

The house was as it had been described, very comfortable and with everything we needed for our 3-night stay. We were able to easily walk to restaurants for dinner each night. Good TV reception and very good Wi-Fi connection.

A beautiful home

It was lovely to stay at this property. The home is very comfortable, spacious and clean. If you're looking for a heritage style residence with all the modern comforts, this is for you. It is also close to town and very convenient. We would book this again.

What a beautiful place that is very comfortable and clean! Great place for a family to stay and relax after a hard days cricket! Everything was ideal from booking through to leaving. I highly recommend the stay at Barton House!

Beautiful house with a very homely feely. The fire makes it even more cozy. Well-appointed house with comfortable beds, linen and towels. Stocked very well. The host Peter is super friendly and repsonsive. Great location, close to town and wineries. Would definitely stay again, highly recommend!

A gem in Orange

This heritage house was filled with character and was beautifully renovated. It was light, bright, cosy and welcoming. Communication with Peter was exceptional and the check-in process was easy. Would love to come back and have a longer stay next time. Thank you.

We had a wonderful overnight stay to celebrate my birthday! The location is super close to town, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the place had everything we needed and more. Spotlessly clean, beautifully set up with so much space and very close to everything. Check-in was smooth and communication with the host was easy and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed Barton House and Orange. Just wanted to stay longer. House is beautiful. Bedding was very comfortable. House is in a great location close to cafes and antique stores. Our favourite was His Pick Collective and Dirty Janes. Overall it had everything we wanted for 3 ladies to celebrate our delayed Christmas in July.
