    HEATING AND COOLING:

    Bowman Retreat is fitted with ducted reverse-cycle air conditioning throughout, controlled via the Daikin panel located upstairs. Each of the four bedrooms also features a ceiling fan with remote control next to the light switch. Leaving bedroom doors open allows the ducted system to circulate comfortably through the upstairs living retreat.

    The downstairs living areas flow easily from the open-plan kitchen and dining through to the family room and out to the enclosed alfresco patio, making everyday gatherings and longer stays equally workable. The dedicated media room offers a quieter space for film nights with surround sound and a 77-inch screen. Upstairs, four bedrooms and an additional sitting retreat give groups and families room to spread out, with block-out blinds in every bedroom for unbroken sleep. The home is well suited to shift workers, travelling professionals, and multi-generational stays.



    THE LOCATION:

    Bowman Retreat sits in a quiet residential pocket of Wentworth Estate, around 5 minutes' drive from Orange CBD and the Summer Street dining strip. Greengate Supermarket is around 1 km away for everyday essentials, with Ashcroft's IGA in the Summer Centre roughly 3 km from the door. The Ophir Hotel — a family-friendly pub with a large playground — is around 2 km away. Cafes including Byng Street Local Store, Academy Coffee Roasters, and Good Eddy are all within a 5-minute drive, while restaurants like Lucetta Dining, Ignite Bar & Grill, La Milano, and Hey Rosey wine bar sit in the heart of the CBD. For wine, Philip Shaw Wines is around 10 minutes away, with Swinging Bridge, Heifer Station, and Mortimers Wines all within a short drive. Mount Canobolas and its walking trails are roughly 20 minutes south, and the Orange Botanic Gardens are around 3 km from the property.

    CAMERAS: Please be advised that the property features three external security cameras. These have been fitted around the property exterior — two at the front of the home and one at the rear patio area.

    FIRE PIT: This property has a fire pit that you are more than welcome to use if you wish. Instructions are in the home and also in your check in details closer to your arrival. Firewood is not provided, however, there are several local providers or you can message us ahead of time and we can help you organise to have some available when you arrive.

    PETS: Pets are welcome at Bowman Retreat. A pet fee applies per stay. Pets are permitted both indoors and outdoors but must remain off all furniture and beds. Please ensure any droppings are collected before checkout.

    STAIRS: The home is two-storey, with all four bedrooms located upstairs. There is also a single step at each external entry point (front, side, and back doors).
