Second wonderful stay at Mas Julien. Valere is a wonderful host, providing great accommodation and breakfast. We are already planning our third visit next year.

Par excellence!

What can I say... The location was fabulous, the accommodation was wonderful and most of all Valere was the perfect host - so friendly and helpful! He has paid so much attention to detail which results in his guests having the perfect stay. The only down side was that we only had one night there on our roadtrip but we will definitely be back for a holiday based at Mas Julien! Thank you Valere - Kate and Mick

Mas Julien is a fabulous and exclusive Bed and Breakfast facility with luxurious accommodations and a superb breakfast. The sole proprietor is welcoming and accommodating to every need and the grounds are breathtaking but the rural location of Mas Julien amid fields of grape vines make it particularly special. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mas Julien.

Valère has thought of everything. From the immaculately kept grounds, the crystal clear Olympic size pool, the spotless, and very well thought out room layout, and not to mention the extraordinary Breakfast that he provides. This place is heaven in the vineyards, and 5 minutes from Orance and 10 from CDP. We will be back again and again. Magnificent!

Trevligt hotell omgivet av vingårdar

Fantastiskt trevligt ställe ute på landsbygden mellan vingårdar. 5 km till Châteauneuf-du-Pape och 5 km till Orange. Fanns en restaurang på gångavstånd från hotellet. Det var en restaurang som först och främst besöktes av lokalbefolkningen men även av de som som var gäster på hotellet. Vi åt på Le Verges des Papes i Châteauneuf-du-Pape vilket var en fantastik restaurang med prisvärda menyer. Kan verkligen rekommenderas. Hotellet kändes mera som ett hem med fantastisk trädgård och med pool och solstolar och ägaren var en trevlig man som serverade oss frukost varje dag. Han kunde dessutom bra engelska vilket var bra för oss som i princip inte kan någon franska.

Situated in the middle of the Chateauneuf du Pape vineyards, the Mas Julien is a fantastic place. The property has maintained many of the historical details of the old “Mas” (farmhouse) but is still modern in its functionality which makes for a very pleasant stay. The property is big and the number of guests on the property are, by my calculation, limited to around 8-10 people which gives you an enourmous amount of space to relax on. Our room was spacious and clean and I enjoyed waking up looking out of the little window to the garden. The owner and the host Valere is an amazing guy. Not only does he provide the service of a concierge almost 24/7, he is also genuinely a very nice guy and I enjoyed chatting with him at breakfast and discussing different places to go and things to do. when we struggled to find our next place to stay (we hadn’t booked the full vacation due to COVID-19) he was extremely helpful in recommending places. We had a number of good restaurant visits and wine domaine visits because of Valere. Just let him know what you’re preferences are, and he will guide you towards that. There’s something for everyone’s taste. Another great thing about the Mas, is that you can also prepare your own dinner and lunch. Going out every night can be a bit exhausting and we also enjoyed hanging back at the property for some light dinner. I liked the intimacy and quietness off the place and other guests was very friendly. 10/10 would recommend. Peter
