"Beautiful boutique hotel with interesting history all around the lobby. The hotel just recently re-opened. It smells fresh and clean. Check-in was easy. This was the first stay I've had where the front desk attendant sent a link to my phone so I could use my phone to unlock doors around the building including the door to my room. The hallways to the rooms smell of fresh lavender. There was a water bottle refill station across from our room, and inside our room was a cute basket with a cozy blanket. They had great choices for tea in the room, which as a tea drinker, this was a major bonus for me. The whole place felt like modern chic meets the charm of the past, with the bonus of close access to the best parts of Monroe. Highly recommended!"

"Home and property were beautiful and well maintained. Loved the privacy and bit of trails to walk through with our dog. Amenities were well stocked, we didn't need to go buy any toilet paper or paper towel as often happens at other VRBOs when staying for a few days. I personally really appreciated the scent free lotion as I am quite sensitive to heavy fragrance in many skincare products. The deck off the back of the house was quite relaxing, it would be the perfect place to sit and enjoy a long slow weekend in the fall. We also were visited by frogs and toads each night as well as 3 turkeys that strolled through the property a few times during our stay. Plenty of space indoors with both a nice family room set up in the main and lower floor, and the open concept kitchen/dining/family room on the main floor made it easy to hang out together while still doing our own thing."
