About this property

Villa Storica con Piscina e Accesso al Mare

 • The stunning Villa Arieti is situated on a plot of land overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and features
private access to the sea via a staircase carved into the rock.
The villa offers a “breathtaking” panoramic view of the Tuscan Archipelago from each of its seven
rooms and from the wonderful terrace, where guests can admire romantic sunsets and stunning
starry skies.
Crossing the garden, a stone path leads to the saltwater pool, where
your senses are immediately captivated by the heady scent of the sea and the Mediterranean scrub
.
The lively, fragrant, and luminous atmosphere of the daytime transforms at twilight,
when the sun meets the horizon, into moments of calm bliss as you immerse yourself in sunsets
when the sky seems to burst into flames, blazing with orange, crimson, and gold, gradually
fading into a purplish hue before turning the blackest black imaginable
, against which the shining silver stars appear.
And a sunset and a starry sky never cease to amaze.
It’s also possible to dine in the barbecue area, sheltered by a pergola of palm leaves.
Inside, the 7 rooms—all very bright and spacious—feature comfortable beds and
elegant furnishings. They all overlook the sea; 5 have an en suite bathroom, and 2
share a bathroom. Five rooms have air conditioning, which is also available in the
dining room and living room.
There is also a spacious living room that opens onto the stunning terrace overlooking the sea, a dining room,
a professional kitchen, a TV area with an Etruscan stone fireplace, and a charming open-air patio
with a lawn, which becomes a perfect dining area under the stars when the sea-facing terrace
is too breezy.
On the terrace, in the living room, and in the entrance hall, there is a collection of marble elements set
into the walls or used as architectural features; some are Roman pieces, while others are prized architectural fragments
from the 18th century, which enrich the space with ancient memories.
Villa Arieti is located in southern Tuscany, and the Ansedonia coast is a highly sought-after destination for
lovers of the sea. The Ansedonia headland is situated between two beautiful beaches, Feniglia and
Tagliata, where you can find beach clubs and seaside restaurants; yet along these very long
beaches, it’s still possible to discover secluded spots. In particular, at Feniglia—which can be reached on foot or by
bike through the pine forest, a nature reserve teeming with fallow deer and wild boars—you can easily reach the
sea at deserted spots.
The nearest town is Orbetello, with a first-run cinema, high-quality shops, and good restaurants.
Ansedonia is also an excellent starting point for nearby cultural excursions, such as the archaeological excavations
in the city of Cosa or Niki de Saint Phalle’s Tarot Garden, or for visits to the medieval towns of
Capalbio or Pitigliano, or to explore Etruscan culture in Tarquinia or Tuscania and
and much more.
You can also enjoy tastings of excellent wines at exceptional wineries.

Beach lovers will appreciate the bays of the islands of Giannutri and Giglio, and nature lovers
will discover unique ecosystems in the Orbetello Lagoon and Lake Burano.
Near Villa Arieti, you can also play tennis and golf, go horseback riding, surf, and
enjoy all kinds of water sports.
This villa is the ideal place to spend a holiday with family or friends. With its swimming pool and
private beach access, as well as its seaside terrace offering a breathtaking panoramic view,
offers exceptional comfort in an enchanting setting.
With its countless amenities, it is an ideal holiday spot. You won’t even need to leave
thanks to the welcoming chef, who prepares exquisite menus featuring traditional
Italian and Japanese cuisine, making your stay in Ansedonia truly inviting.
