"We had a great stay at Room Mate Gerard and would happily recommend anyone to stay here. The location is perfect walking distance to places across the city including Plaça de Catalunya, La Ramblas, the Gothic Quarter, Harbour, Park de la Cituadella. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe also. Our room was lovely and kept clean throughout our stay. The staff were friendly and always willing to help or offer recommendations. We will be back!"

"Nice small room with a beautiful large terrace. Shower and toilet a bit inconvenient as they are inside the room separated only by a thin glass door. The big problem is that we asked for an early taxi to be reserved as we had to take an early morning flight, we asked for a taxi at 5:30AM. The receptionist, a man from Peru, failed to register our request and the taxi was not there. We had to wait for another taxi to arrive. "
