Needs Improvement Upon entering the home, we all thought it was very nice. The layout is great. But the home needs improvements. The kitchen accessories are not up to par. There are no glasses, the kitchen tools & utensils are scarce, the plates & bowls are plastic and for kids. The draperies are all thrown together and are different lengths; they look terrible. The outdoor pool area has only 2 chairs and tables and they are all dirty. One table was full of dirt or potting soil so you couldn’t put anything down on it.The showers need to be cleaned. There was mold & mildew in the shower on the 1st floor. The 2nd floor bathroom was cute with the Mickey Mouse theme, but the shower liner was disgustingly dirty. I needed to make sure that it didn’t touch me while I was showering. The 1st floor half bath & laundry were very convenient, but there is a broken glass mirrored outlet cover that could be quite dangerous for a family with smaller children. That needs to be fixed ASAP.The worst part was that the smoke alarm at the highest point in the living room started chirping at about 8:30pm. I called the phone number provided on VRBO 4 times, and texted that same number trying to get in touch with someone. There was no response at all. Finally, at approximately 11pm, I messaged the owner via the VRBO App and I got a response that they were away, out of state, and couldn’t do anything about it. They suggested that we close the bedroom doors!
