Favorite getaway that is close to home

This is such a great getaway location. Its quiet, cozy, and beautiful. The owners are very nice and helpful and brought us extra wood for the firepit. The pond still has fish in it, we caught a few bass and didnt even spend much time fishing. Can't wait to come back.

This cabin was so very well maintained and very safe for my daughter and I to travel and stay in for adventures in the area (Marengo Cave, French Lick, West Baden, Hoosier National Forest). The hosts even left goodies for us to eat. We both want to go back in the summer or fall to make use of the pond and canoes!!

Wonderful Cabin
We had a wonderful and peaceful stay at the Cozy Country Cabin. It was perfect! Everything you could possibly need is there. The owners have thought of everything and added a few extra bonuses like homemade cinnamon rolls! We loved our visits with Major too! We will be back.

So peaceful!
We had the best time here. The cabin is adorable and we absolutely loved the pond! The sunrise and sunset views were spectacular and being able to fish at any time was the best. We relaxed in the rocking chairs and even lit a fire one night and roasted marshmalllows. It is truly a little slice of heaven.

Gorgeous property!
Peaceful, serene, just a beautiful location. We loved spending our anniversary at this quaint property. Caught several fish, enjoyed the woodburning fireplace and all the beautiful surroundings. What a bonus to find the homemade sweet treats ❤️. We will be back!

It was everything we wanted in a cozy cabin. Very clean and tidy. The baked treats was a nice surprise, very delicious! Major, the property guard, was very friendly. We enjoyed his company while fishing in the pond. We will be back!

The property is immaculate. We loved feeding the fish, sitting on the porch and watching the wildlife. Our stay was very relaxing and the owners were very attentive to our needs. The homemade danish and bread were delicious! We plan on going back.

My wife and I loved the location, pond, really everything about it. Quiet. Beautiful. The pond was great and the German shepherd that come over to visit was a nice treat. Would definitely recommend.

The homemade treats that awaited us was very welcoming. as well as the friendly owner's dog. Feeding the fish in the pond was special too. There's nothing better than sitting by the fire pit on a quiet evening in the country. Owners were available if needed but left us alone. Cabin was well stocked and felt very homey and comfortable.

Exactly what we needed!
We came out here to decompress after a difficult year. The cottage was absolutely perfect. So serene, so peaceful. As soon as we arrived I said “Oh man I wish we were staying for a week.” It’s the perfect place to unplug and just find some peace. The cottage was clean, well stocked for any cooking needs, and the baked goods left for us were OUTSTANDING! We will absolutely be back, next time for longer than two nights!

A relaxing getaway
My husband and I stayed for a few days to get away from the hustle and bustle of careers, family, and our modern world. The cabin is just the perfect size for two. Everything needed was available to us and more. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch, visiting with Major, and listening to the birds. The cinnamon rolls were a delightful welcome! Great cozy, charming cabin
My husband said it was the best place we have stayed! Very clean. Had everything we needed and appreciated all special treats for breakfast. Perfect for the two of us. Would have loved to sit on the porch and try some fishing, but the heavy rains kept us inside by the wonderful fireplace. Thank you for sharing Gramp's cabin with us!

Incredibly cozy and well-built cabin (and cell service was just good enough to watch my Michigan Wolverines wet the bed against TCU). The host had some homemade baked goodies waiting for us, there was plenty of firewood provided for the fireplace. A wonderful place to get away from the world for a night.

Anniversary Weekend Away
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this little cabin. This was probably the best stocked place we've ever been to. The cinnamon rolls waiting for us were a wonderful treat. We loved listening to the morning rain showers on the tin roof, feeding the fish was so fun, and meeting Major was a delight - He's Beautiful. I love visiting caves, so this cabin was perfect as so many were just a short drive away. Thanks again for sharing it with us!

lovely property and the SWEETEST hosts
we stayed there for 2 nights and loved it. the check in and out was very nice and easy. when we got there, there were cookies and cinnamon rolls and the fridge and cabinets were stocked. the lake had a lot of fish and even some catfish. they also had the sweetest dog who came and visited us multiple times. there was no Internet or tv, but we brought our computer and used it hotspot to watch movies. there were small boats, fishing poles, fire wood, roasting sticks, chairs, board games, etc. provided. it was very clean. we loved our stay and will definitely be back!! :)

This was the perfect get-a-way for our 24th anniversary. The back porch was so beautiful. We sat for hours watching the hummingbirds play and fishing in the pond. The hosts have thought of everything you might need and even left us some homemade baked goods and fresh flowers. Highly recommend.
