Hotel the Leben exceeded my expectations in all areas. It is spacious, clean and located a short distance away from the main shopping streets of Shinsaibashi and night life of Osaka. It is a 15 min walk to Dotonburi where you will find the Glico Man as well as 2 donki hote chains. The hotel also provides plenty of amenities, including a good selection of tea in the lobby. While the hotel has washing machines, there is also a 24h coin laundry just a street behind the hotel - 2 mins walk away. It is also beside 2 convenient stores. I can't tell you how lucky I felt to have chanced upon this gem of a hotel.

The staff at this hotel were amazing. I observed a staff member helping a gentleman bring his suitcase into the hotel. Then the staff member went off to grab a towel to wipe it down since it was wet from the rain outside. Another staff member called a cab for us and actually walked us out under an umbrella to shield us from the rain. All of that was above and beyond my expectations. They were always courteous and smiling as well.
