"What a treat to stay at The Blanche! We were in Lake City to visit extended family- and we loved the Blanche. The rooms were lovely and clean, amenities are wonderful, and the history is incredible. Johnny Cash and Al Capone stayed at the Blanche in their heyday! Whether you are on the veranda overlooking the lake and spanish moss covered trees, or taking in the downtown city square, it is like being taken back in time when Lake City was in its prime. There are adorable restaurants within walking distance, a fabulous coffee shop and breweries. Parking is ample. And so close to downtown, and plenty of shops to peruse. We loved our stay and will definitely return- and for anyone looking for somewhere in Lake City that isn't a cookie cutter roadside hotel, the Blanche is your place!"

"Our stay was good, we booked the room with two king beds great to stretch out. The only thing I do not recommend is do not prepurchase the breakfast through Expedia, it won't be worth it. All made to order even oatmeal so if you are in a hurry a free Continental breakfast would be a better option. The hotel is nice and you can order breakfast if you want when you get there, just don't prepurchase it, or go to waffle house across the street."
