Excellent location! Owners are very attentive! The cabin is perfect for 1-2 people that don't need much space. Nice alternative for people who enjoy a low key private area. Firepit is located directly outside cabin for convenience. This is our go-to place!
This unit is small, but it is super cozy and has everything you need. The view was nothing short of breathtaking in the morning for the sunrise. The owners are really friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I definitely recommend it if you're looking to unplug for a few days and just enjoy the water and local area attractions. I'll be back without any doubt.

Property needs help
Location is excellent! Walk out the door and your on the beach. It looks like they are trying to do some repairs but , we stepped out of the car and right into some wet clay, sewage I don't know what it was but we spent an hour cleaning our shoes ...we didn't know what to expect on our first day so we brought food to warm up....when we tried the microwave it blew the fuses in the place ! So we wasted the food we brought. The bathroom light never worked ...we left after one night
We’ve visited here now a couple times. Always a great up north cottage feel, with a great view and steps from the beach literally!!! Great to just relax and unwind… exactly what we needed. We will be back again..
We both loved this location and the property! This place was beyond our expectations. Real old time on the beach cottage, being restored to their former glory by excellent new owners. We’re coming back!
Will never stay here again. Guests were extremely rude and loud, check in was very last minute and my unit was not clearly marked and missing a number. No a/c so very uncomfortable.
If you’re looking for a beach room on Lake Huron with this is your place. There’s no frills just a double bed. No A/C not a lot of walking around room inside. But the Lake is visual and easily accessible. There’s a fire pit right outside your door for the community to sit at. You can hear the waves throughout the night. There’s wonderful shade trees if you’re not a sun bunny. And they have a pretty regular following of people who come back every year. All in all, it was adequate for what we were after but I definitely wouldn’t spend any length of time just due to size. All in all, we had a wonderful time.
It was a cute little one room cottage. Very retro, no frills, but had everything I needed. I loved the fact that it is right on the beach that we had to ourselves. No tourists to deal with. And I made some new friends with the family and the couple in the neighboring units. We all got along great. Played games and sat around the bonfire at night.
If I needed anything, I messaged the hosts and they took care of it immediately.
Great place to stay.
Did NOT get to stay. When we arrived at 4:15 (check-in 4:00) the cottage had not been cleaned and dirty towels, dirty bedding stacked in tub and bed. Most of the day is lost with a 4:00 check-in and then the owner said it would be about an hour and 20 minutes before the cleaner could get there... if she was willing to turn around and come back to clean it. She offered our money back and we accepted. Also, owner got snippy with me when I asked what do we do now while I was disappointed to have wasted the entire day waiting for this cottage. She made me feel like it was my fault the cottage wasn't ready. I have a pet - how long can I sit in the car with my pet waiting for the cottage to be cleaned?
AND, two weeks later I still have not gotten a total refund as promised.
