"Our first impression of the place was a very strong scent of freshener when you entered the hallway. My first thought, "what are they trying to cover up". By day 2, the smell subsided somewhat. On the surface everything seemed clean. But..... Not sure if all the rooms were like ours, but the carpet ..."

"The property is beautiful, the gardens are breathtaking, and the staff is kind and seen often working on the property. The lakeside view is exquisite, the cottage itself is absolutely charming. The location is perfect for a summer weekend. We will definitely visit again, Highly recommend."
