"Wonderful hidden gem. It has plenty of space, super clean, great internet, beach is large, no rocks, and raked each week. It's thoughtfully decorated and provisioned with everything you need to get started on your vacay. Owners are readily available for communication and care about your experience. Highly recommend this rental and look forward to staying here again."

"Very comfortable & well stocked condo. The beach is beautiful. Very close to restaurants & grocery store. Enjoyed the gorgeous sunrises & relaxing beach walks. The only concerns we had were that the entries appeared unfinished. There was no number on the unit & there are 2 doors. Not sure which was main entry when we arrived & there is not a stoop at the entry door ( might be difficult for some to step up into & down when exiting). Also no deadbolt or chain lock on the doors. I believe these are things being worked on as it is newly remodeled. The host was helpful & prompt in contacting us on arrival. We would surely like to stay here again in future. Love the area!"

"We rented the Loon Lodge over the Labor Day weekend to celebrate my husband's first days of retirement. Loon Lodge is an adorable 658 sqft cottage but the open layout doesn't feel small at all, and the best part is that it's pet friendly! It is tastefully decorated with the bedroom and bathroom seems to have been recently updated. The screened in porch gave us spectacular sunset views each evening. The location is awesome, we spent time in Tawas City, East Tawas and Oscoda. The area is very pet friendly, we were able to take our pup just about everywhere...there's even a dog beach at Tawas Pointe State Park. The only minor point is that the bed is only a double and was a bit hard to sleep in, probably because we're used to a king. Honestly it didn't impact the enjoyment of our stay. Loon Lodge is an adorable and affordable cottage on a beautiful lake in a wonderful area of Michigan. I would not hesitate to stay here again on our next trip to this area."
