Beautiful area! Outside fire pits and picnic tables were great to be able to use. Hotel is dated but still does the job. Lake right outside the pool is amazing.

My sister and I stayed in the family suite for a weekend visit. The view of the lake from the suite was spectacular, and the beach was very nice sugar sand. We really enjoyed sitting on the beach watching the gulls! It was quiet at night and the stove and refrigerator were in good working order for us to prepare our meals. The beds were comfortable. We used the handy outside grill one evening, and there is also a fire pit for enjoying a campfire. Most of the staff was friendly and professional, and our concerns were handled promptly. We didn’t use the indoor pool or take advantage of the breakfast, but the pool seemed to be a very popular place with other guests. I will definitely stay again.

Two good things about this property the staff and the fact that it is on Lake Huron. The whole place needs to be upgraded, especially for the price that they charge. They are understaffed and it shows in the cleanliness of the rooms. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and the floor was filthy. The bed sheets were clean and there was no sign of unwanted insects. Not worth the price.

The beach is beautiful and the outdoor areas are nice. The room has not been cleaned out quite some time. Giant cobwebs in the windows, floor was dirty, and the toilet had bodily fluid in it and under the seat.

Staff friendly and helpful. Sheets were clean. Towels were old, stained and felt as if they needed to be washed. Sink had no stopper which isn’t good if you have to clean your contacts. Picnic tables right by exit doors encourage smokers to sit and it smelled horrible every time I had to go to my car. Moved my car far away from doors as a result. While the location is good I can’t recommend it as an average to above average hotel. Staff very nice.
