Everything was good, the only suggestion I would give it’s to put charges closer to the beds. The only 2 by the kitchen for everyone to use.

One of the girls at reception is really lovely and helpful and was able to use critical thinking. Another on the other hand followed a very robotic approach and wouldn’t let me wait in the comfortable room with my friend while I waited for my room to be ready. This was minutes after I’d “checked out”. I was trying to extend my stay but I had to move rooms, so when the cleaners had finished doing whatever it is that they do (not much since guests are required to make and strip the beds and I never saw them clean the rooms) I could’ve just moved my belongings three doors down. Instead, they thought it was a better idea for me to take 5 trips down to the ground floor and leave my belongings on the ground. A strong lack of care from this place for guests because of simplicity in policy. Power tripping security guard also threatened to evict me while I was talking to the receptionist, asking questions about leaving my luggage on the 5th floor instead of taking 5 trips to the ground floor. So yeah that’s great. I was feeling good about this hostel mainly due to the first girl I was dealing with and it all was undone by that security guard and receptionist and left a bad taste. If only reviews were taken seriously by people. I guarantee this will just be read and then ignored because “there’s two sides to the story” and someone won’t agree with me

Conveniently located
I had booked a single private room but was given a room with six beds. Weird, but ok. They did react quickly when I told them the window didn’t latch, and when they realized it couldn’t be fixed quickly I was moved to another room right away. This second room also had six beds. Everything was clean, staff was friendly, common space on ground floor was cozy. Tram stops directly in front, there’s a convenience store at the corner, and a grocery store half a block further.

Hostel was great, room was good, location excellent. I would give it 5 stars if room was warm. The heater was insufficient for the room size and even at the maximum setting, it was cold inside.

Absolute nightmare No professionalism No respect No welcoming approach Overtone, egocentric, very rude management Sink in my dormitory and others (see below feedback) blocked, not functioning They force you to book via their website not via 3rd party like sites Absolute disgrace Norway tourism bureau should investigate their wrongdoings as they fail duty of care to travelers and show a bad face to Norway’s tourism

Highly recommended
Second time staying here for the trip. Wonderful location. You can either walk from the central station or take a tram and it stops directly outside the hostel. Allow luggage storage too. Each room comes with a mini kitchen. Check in was seamless and the every staff is so helpful and friendly. They made my solo trip so great.

It was a great stay. Good clean room with a small kitchen and toilet. Location was perfect . Near train station and tram just outside. Excellent location to go around city on tram 12.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I walked to the property from the city centre which took about 15 minutes. Unfortunately you walk through a rather run down area on the way. Which I found uncomfortable. But there is a tram stop right outside . I bought a 24 hour travel card from the shop next to the hostel and was then able to travel around the city quickly and safely.

Good location, not great beds.
Good location. Bed wasn't very comfortable, it was clearly worn out You have to bring the bed linen from the reception to the room and bring it back after checkout. But they do provide bath towels. The shower was right beside the toilet and you have to use a squeegee for the water around the shower area. But still, the floor is fully wet. The kitchen is just beside the beds so it can be a bit noisy if someone decides to cook. The room was very hot, but there were two windows that helped refresh a bit. The worst part was the power outlet. There werent outlets available close to every bed, so I had to charge my phone in the kitchen counter, which is awful. Also, no individual lights for the beds.

A wonderful hostel to stay at. Very clean, safe and located in central Oslo. One area they could improve on is their communication; I didn’t know they were open 24hrs and thus allowed check in beyond 3pm.
