"Hotel Gamla is a perfect hotel to stay in Stockholm. Only 25 mins to the main train station on foot. It is in the heart of the old town and only 10-15 mins (walking) away from the new town. The hotel staff is absolutely wonderful. Special thanks to Josie, Iqbal, and Elaine. They were fantastic! The breakfast buffet is outstanding. The food served is of high quality and plenty of variety including fresh fruit juices, lactose free and vegan options. The hotel lobby is really small but has water and coffee available all the time. Will highly recommend it! "

"We enjoyed our stay very much! The convenient luggage storage when we arrived early, delicious and varied breakfast, small but comfy room and always friendly staff made us feel welcome and at home. Such a lovely, peaceful oasis amazingly close to everything. Hope to stay here again soon!"

"Ideally located on the water with great views to the Modern Art Museum, completely walkable to Gamla Stan and all the restaurants, bars and shopping there. Highly recommend the bar, great cocktails, jazz the nights we were there, bar manager Denise was beyond wonderful. She explained much about the building and her part in designing the features of the bar, so impressive! Spa area was incredibly relaxing, sauna felt so good after being out walking, but be aware, when it’s time to close, the attendant will turn bright lights on, open the sauna door wide, and throw the pool cleaner into the plunge pool. Hurry up and gather your stuff, she is ready for you to get out! Up until that jarring ending, we were calm and winding down after a long day :) Front desk staff is helpful with arrangements and tickets, enjoyed talking to them and asking for recommendations. Really enjoyed an excellent stay!"

"We liked it because it is near to the subway and busses. Also the staff from reception, cleaning, restaurants are all fantastic and helpful. The morning buffet was great, so many dishes to choose from as well as fruit. Our room had a great view over the water and the room might have been a bit small but always kept clean. We were there last year and decided to go back this year. We are very pleased and we will come back again for sure. From happy content hotel guests."
