"Will say this start is best for no more than 2 people and you definitely get the experience of living there.
Next to the best barbecue restaurant I’ve ever eaten as well and close to convenience stores."

"I liked that it was a kid friendly place! The reception was at a different location but the shuttle service that they provide is awesome! The staff is great and very welcoming!"

"A lovely little hotel tucked away down a side street in Kyoto. Very friendly staff, nice room with good a/c (we stayed during an extreme heat episode so were very grateful for that). Nice eateries nearby. Would recommend."

"The hotel is a couple of block from the Kyoto station. We were happy with our stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Kyoto."
"The hotel's traditional décor is truly impressive. There are various hot spring options to enjoy. The massage chairs are well worth the wait, and the complimentary drinks, ice cream, and ramen are all of good quality. The breakfast offers excellent value for money, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and well maintained."
"Great hotel opposite Kyoto Station so very handy. Room was spacious which is unusual in Japan. Had a laundry room which was only ¥600 to use although we had to hang up clothes in room as it didn't dry them completely.
Loads of good restaurants nearby in station (who would have thought) as well as combinis.
Several shopping malls close by as well.
Overall a good hotel and one I'd stay at again."
"The room was clean and quite large, much larger than the typical Japanese hotel room. We were on a high floor, and the view was beautiful. The breakfast buffet is fine but not that extensive. For us, the highlight was the front desk staff, which made several calls for us to work out an unexpected difficulty (we don't speak Japanese). They were absolutely fantastic. We can't thank them enough."
"Hotel is in a great location just a few steps from the Hachijo exit of Kyoto station. The room and bathroom was very clean. Good sized room. Breakfast offers a good choice of Japanese and western dishes. The breakfast area can get a little hectic but is well managed. The staff at the hotel are very helpful and kind."
"We all absolutely love the location. Staff was not very friendly but everything else was very good. All amenities besides the actual room are an extra charge!"
