This hotel is situated in an excellent spot for walking and catching buses all over the place. There is a supermarket minutes away as well as lots of delicious local restaurants.

The place was very clean and the staff very friendly. The location is very close to the bus station and there’s a couple of train stations at a walkable distance (10-15mins). Overall it was comfortable and I recommend it!

Really awesome apartment room that felt a lot bigger than on the pictures, easily the nicest hotel ive stayed in in Japan so far. It was within walking distance of convenience stores and restaurants, as well as a train station for days you want to explore more of Kyoto. Highly recommend if you're thinking of visiting Kyoto

What a surprise for us when we came into the room. It is so nice and welcoming. The price is really worth booking the apartment. It was now only for 1 night, but we really keep this in mind when we come back to Japan.

Was very impressed by this hotel since we've never checked into a no reception desk hotel before. Everything was communicated well. The room was clean and well stocked with towels. We had no reason to call for housekeeping for anything additional although they were there daily. They had an ebike/scooter in front of the hotel so that was very convenient. It was also tucked into the alley and that provided a good feel of the lifestyle. And yes, there is a Japan tax that will need to be paid at checkout which is stated prior to booking. So it wasn't a surprise to us. It was expected. Would definitely stay here again.

Great value for a big family room. Good location, easily accessible with lots of restaurants around and near bus stop. Unfortunately, no private parking available and no public area to sit on an evening when the kids are in bed. This could be improved.

Very close to Nijo Castle (7 minutes walk), 2 minutes walk to supermarket. Restaurants were fun to go to while doing a stroll around the area. Subway and bus station about 10-15 minutes walk.
