Hotel in kyoto

Small hotel with very nice staff that helped us originize our trip in kyoto. The location is very good. The room is great and comes with a private washing machine and drier function in the bathroom! We used it a lot. The only downsize is that the room window's view is a wall, but we definitely recommend you to stay here.

Very good facilities and location. Close to Nishiki market and to bus stops and train station. Our room even had laundry facilities aside from the refrigerator and microwave. Would definitely book here again! Staff very friendly and listens to your needs.

Great place to stay in Kyoto

Great location and a really nice room with my own balcony. Unfortunately, due to the heat, I could only use it in the morning before it got too hot. Washing machine, the shower room doubles as a drying room, fridge, microwave and the possbility to cook your own food if wanted/needed. They also have a small deck on the roof where you can sit and relax (once again, weather a bit too hot), and complementary coffee and chilled water in the reception area. Just a minute away from Nishiki market and a few minutes to the bus stops on the main street. Staff is really friendly and helpful, and you can borrow sleepware just by asking. The hotel also seems very careful of the environment.

We had an excellent experience at Hotel GOCO. It's a very well managed, clean and comfortable hotel. The staff are fantastic, courteous and very helpful. They helped us with restaurant reservations (you need one for popular restaurants) and booking taxis. The hotel is in central location, close to many shopping centers, and metro stations, it's close to walk to many tourist attractions. Highly recommended.

I asked and was made aware that it is a Family owned hotel. The owners (husband and wife) were hands on. They were very helpful and pleasant. The area was very convenient to restaurants and shops but most especially just steps away from Nishiki Market. Walking distance to Gion. We highly recommend. Hotel GOCO Stay in Kyoto was perfect for our needs. The staff was very attentive and helpful from check-in to recommending places to see cherry blossoms in the late starting season. The room was perfectly appointed with a mini kitchenette and washing machine. The shower turns into a dryer which is perfect for those that want to pack light and travel with less stress. The gentleman at the front desk helped to coordinate luggage shipping for overnight bags for sameday travel to our next hotel in Osaka, as well as forwarding our bigger suitcases to Tokyo. The hotel is perfectly situated one block from Nishiki market, and around the corner from Kawaramachi street market and multiple bus and train stations to get you anywhere in the city. All of the beds in Japan run on the firmer side, but this bed was one of the more comfortable ones we had on our two week adventure.

The location was phenomenal, room was very clean and the staff were absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond to help us any way possible! They helped book our bus back to Osaka and even walked us out to the Main Street to grab a taxi for us. We can’t thank hotel GOCO enough for their hospitality!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
