"Wanted to try an onsen with the family. Stayed one night and had the Kaiseki dinner add on. It was a nice experience and they even provided tattoo stickers if needed. "Excellent, easy-to-get to hotel with wonderful lake view; very good place to stay and access Kyoto/Uji etc. The only slight criticism would be the swimming pool - access earlier in the day (from 7:00 am ? and maybe keeping it open later than 17:00) would be highly desirable !!"
