Kids loved the waterpark and mini golf course - was a great way to bribe them to come hiking all morning in Starved Rock then have fun activities to come back to. Rooms were spacious, clean and beds were comfortable. Some facilities could use some renovation (some arcade machines didn’t work, showers were a bit dated, locker rooms at the waterpark had some broken locks or missing toiletries, room could use some extra outlets, etc.) but nothing crazy or super concerning. We had a great time, would highly recommend and would return.

Staff really nice and friendly but rooms are in really bad condition the beds have stains all around and the sofa are very old and not in good shape the ice machine doesn’t work the pools I do recommend had really good time in there with the kids. Breakfast doesn’t worth it the price $15 per person and they don’t have a lot to choose from. Arcade small but nice. They should have more inside activities for the kids

Great Amenities & Staff, But Room Cleanliness Needs Improvement We recently stayed here for two nights, and overall, there was a lot to enjoy about the resort. The staff members were extremely friendly and welcoming throughout our entire stay. The water park and arcade were fantastic hits with the family, and exploring the canyon on-site was a lovely highlight. The resort was beautifully decorated for Halloween, creating a fun seasonal vibe. We really enjoyed the complimentary morning coffee and relaxed to the live music performance in the evening. Parking was straightforward with plenty of well-maintained spots. Unfortunately, the room fell short of expectations. It didn't feel very cozy or inviting. We found visible stains on the bed sheets, and the extra blanket provided in the room was unclean, which was disappointing given how great the rest of the facility is. If management addresses the housekeeping quality control in the guest rooms, this would easily be a top-tier resort experience.

The staff was incredibly helpful, we had a small but important thing outside the norm that we needed help with and Tim the manager was remarkably helpful, diligent and took care of it for us fully. He went above and beyond.
