"Rooms were cleaned everyday during our week stay and they would change sheets upon request. Breakfast had a good variety and staff did a good job insuring sufficient items were out no matter the time in the morning. Comfortable place to stay. The front staff were always very friendly and helpful. Special thank you to Blair for all her help. "

"Cabin was cozy. Beautiful view of the lake. Time slows down watching a loon on the lake with a fire going. The area had great hiking and we recommend going into town and shopping! We will be back in winter!"

Comfortable furniture and bed along with a very nice bathroom and shower downstairs. The home was well equipped and extremely clean and relaxing. Great communication with Mike."

"If you need space for alot of guests, this property is ideal. Not only inside, but beautiful grounds, garage, well equipped fire pits, boathouse with many toys, large dock for boats/pontoon.Clear water for swimming, and easy walk from house to beautiful Big Portage lake.My favorite place was the catwalk to a private space over looking the lake. So peaceful.The home is a work of art. Many of the owners personal treasures you'll most likely will never see again. There's a boardroom, ice cream room, bar room, huge beautiful living room and Professional Kitchen!,besides 7 bedrooms. A focal point is The Gazebo for Wine Time! Just beautiful. Your property managers Lynne & Gary are professionals and it shows as they walk you through the property.We will return for Sled Races and already booked for 2026 Fall. Thank you "
