"Stayed here 2 nights for a fall getaway. Great location in Eagle River. On the UTV trail. Room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking. The included breakfast buffet had eggs and sausage both days. Waffle maker, fruit juices, yogurt, milk and muffins were available. We had a handicap-accessible room which was ample sized. Somewhat strange that there was no shelf for soap or shampoo in the shower. Had to put them on the floor. This location is pet friendly, so we did hear some barking at times. Would stay here again."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This lake home was totally remodeled from the frame and is in pristine condition with new interior siding, countertops flooring and appliances. The lot is secluded with a walkout to a quiet bay on Kentuck Lake. An added bonus is the attached secure garage that helps with unpacking your gear and plenty of room to store any "toys" you might bring with you. Although no sandy beach, the lake is good for fishing and the property offers kayaks, paddleboat and a canoe. The road into the property and around the lake was recently paved and is great for walks and biking."

"Unique (in a good way!) house in a private setting on a beautiful lake. Lots of space, big kitchen and outdoor areas, and very comfortable. Owner and caretakers were great to work with throughout. Highly recommend this property for a large group."

"Pioneer Paradise 2 was a beautiful, relaxing home away from home. The accomadations appeared quite new and were luxurious -even better than expected. We enjoyed the lake view from the deck, watching hummingbirds, bald eagles, and turkeys. Weed free swimming is a short paddle out toward the island. There are so many places to enjoy the beauty of nature around this rental. Our family enjoyed a tour of waterfalls during our stay. We especially enjoyed Bond Falls where we hiked up and around both sides of the falls. O Kun de Kun falls was fun too- longer hike in- about 1.3 miles, but you can hike in behind the falls. We also went to Lake of the Clouds which was beautiful.We enjoyed a short drive to Eagle River to the antique shops, a fun thrift store Pancakes from Heaven, and the Pine and Pour Coffee House. Our only hiccup was upon arrival. It would have been helpful if we had been given a few more instructions: 1. There is not yet an address marker for the house so it was a bit confusing where to turn in. 2. We had a bit of a struggle figuring out which lock the key in the lockbox was for. We would definitely return to this property!"
