"This little house is perfect for a getaway to Acadia. We stayed in late October. If you are looking to get away from the crowds of Bar Harbor, this is it. Surprisingly, it’s not a long drive from town, but it’s so quiet. We did two long full day hikes directly from the house. No need to drive! Check all trails for a trail leading directly from town to the quarry trail to Gorham Peak or the Ocean Trail. We found the short cut only on our way back. Super convenient for home cooked meals, laundry...
