"Wir hatten ein klasse Wochenende in dem Haus. Die überdachte Terrasse ist super, so dass man auch bei nicht so gutem Wetter noch draußen sitzen kann und nicht nur drin sitzen muss. Schagen ist mit dem Fahrrad ca. eine halbe Stunde entfernt. Der Sparmarkt ist fußläufig schnell zu erreichen. Hier gibt es alles was man so braucht und vielleicht zuhause vergessen hat. Alles in allem kann man das Haus echt empfehlen. "

"Wir haben uns zu dieser Unterkunft entschieden, weil klar war, dass wir viel draußen sein werden und maximal zum Schlafen und Essen dort sein werden. Für 5 Personen ist es natürlich eng, aber das weiß man bei einem Mobile Home eben vorher. Wir waren im Herbst dort und hatten Glück mit dem Wetter. Im Sommer ist es sicher noch besser. "Breakfast was basic, but great to have to start the day. Staff were absolutely wonderful and helpful. Amenities were very close and the train was a short walk to visit near by cities. Room was clean and had AC. I would absolutely stay here again, it was far more enjoyable than my stay in Amsterdam and much more affordable!"

"The only thing that I found slightly sparse was the fact that there was only one luggage cart, and it was not available when I arrived. Which meant that I had to lug my heavy luggage myself. The receptionist was unable to find a helping hand, but ended up helping me herself, which I appreciated. But I do feel that one cart is simply not enough. The renovated room was awesome. Very comfortable and clean. I would have liked a normal coffee maker though. The little cups make strong coffee and there was no milk available. I did appreciate finding real glassware. Bigger mugs would have been wonderful. I would suggest that the hotel prohibits smoking on the balcony. The rooms that bordered my balcony had people in them who smokes. One cigarettes, the other cannabis. So I really could not enjoy the balcony, But... in general I would gladly recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay near beautiful Edam and Volendam."
