We enjoyed our stay very much. Large kitchen with a large table, nice rooms with plenty of storage space, amazing(!!!) view of the lake, calm environment and good access to pubs and shops in Oughterard (2 min drive
This cottage was wonderful for our family holiday. The location was perfect for all of our excursions. Oughterard is such a quaint little town and had everything we could have needed and more.
Property was easy to find near a great village. Several pubs and restaurants nearby. Spacious bedrooms and comfortable sitting room. Gorgeous lake view.
Had wanted to stay a little closer to Galway but this is what I eventually decided on and the location turned out to be perfect. Great for visiting all of the Connemara region and Inis Mor. This little fishing camp with four bedrooms and a beautiful view of Lake Corrib proved to be just the ticket for us.
The cottage was very quiet and comfortable! It had a great view of Loch Corrib. Its location north of Galway is a really good spot to travel and see western Ireland. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

A superbly located cottage, very well equipped and comfortable.
A very quiet and peaceful location, within a few yards of Lough Corrib, with wonderful views. Close to the lively village of Oughterard. Very well equipped and maintained, and very clean. It was kind of Frank to stop by on occasion to make sure all was well - which it was.

Great cottage, great stay!
We had a great stay in this cottage. Not only was it a beautiful house with all the comfort we needed, but the location was frankly stunning. A beautiful garden and lake access: just a dream! An to top it up: the owners are some of the friendliest people we met in Ireland. They even lent us their boat to take a tour on the lake. We will be back, that's for sure!
Ohhh how we fell in love with Oughterard. If you want to meet locals and enjoy pints galore with the most lovely people, this is your place to stay. The house is sweet. The views amazing. You’ll even find a cute Springer named Molly bolt through the yard from time to time. The hosts were very kind and it was just the best vacation ever.
We loved our stay. Frank and Geraldine Molloy were very lovely hosts. The cottage had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The only thing that was missing was the dryer. There was a washing machine, but not a dryer as listed. The location was perfect. We could visit Galway as well as Connemara Visitor center, and the Kylemore Abby. The cottage was right on the lake, so the morning views were breathtaking. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone who likes a peaceful retreat.
Stunning location with view across Lake Corrib. Oughterard is a busy little place with good hostelries, supermarket and local produce
The accommodation overall was good ie kitchen and bedrooms. The lounge is fairly small and furniture needs an update.
Most of the time the outside furniture would be adequate but during hot sunny weather a
parasol would have been appreciated.
However this did not detract from an enjoyable stay and I would hope to stay again in the future
