We are a mature couple that were travelling with the Stray Backpacker's bus. Although most of the Stray people were staying in the dorm facilities, we booked a private room in one of the nicer lodges at Blue Duck. The lodge and room were very nice - pretty luxurious actually - but the price did reflect that. We met the owner, Dan the last evening we were there and he was very nice and welcoming. Unfortunately I can't say that for most of the staff members we dealt with, with the exception of the young man who ran the target shooting activity. I got the impression that they did not want to be there, or at least be providing hospitality to a group of people.
