Enjoy entertaining and hanging out with friends and family upstairs in a well-stocked home with an open floor plan.

We are inboard on Ocean Drive and have two sets of French doors that open up onto a front balcony with peekaboo views of the beach, sounds of waves, and ocean breezes! Less than 50 feet away you can step onto the sand, and in under 200 feet, you are at the harbor and lookout point with a sidewalk and benches for sitting to enjoy sailboats and waves. There is also a protected “kiddie beach” only a short distance away.

There are two bedrooms upstairs, and each has a king-size bed and a shared luxury full bath. The gourmet kitchen is upstairs with a side balcony that has a BBQ and room for sitting. Downstairs is a master suite, family room, bedroom, and bathroom, which can be a private retreat for a second family. Both upstairs and downstairs living areas have pull-out sofas for extra guests and coffee tables that convert to desks for TV dinner seating.

When you are done at the beach or wandering around town, our quaint backyard has an outdoor shower with hot water to wash off sandy toes. The yard is big enough to sit and relax with outdoor couch seating, a fireplace table, a second BBQ, and a dining table to enjoy eating outside in your own outdoor space.

There is a two-car garage and room for three cars in the driveway, as well as street parking, and a beach access parking lot (which closes at sunset) is a very short walk away.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. PERFECTION
This house was amazing for our family. Plenty of room for everyone and a private apartment on the first floor for another couple. The neighborhood was beautiful and the views from the deck were spectacular. Great beach right across the street and lots of fun spots to visit nearby.

The property was very clean, and the location is absolutely perfect. No more than 30 seconds from the kitchen to being on the beach sand. The rooms are spacious enough to fit friends and family for a day together and the amenities in the house made us feel right at home. We'll be looking to come back again!!!

This was our second time staying at this home for the Thanksgiving holiday week. We stayed in 2021, and returned in 2023, as it has a wonderful kitchen for preparing a holiday meal, and is such an amazing location. For the most part, it is an awesome home, with great spaces for family time, dining, and restful sleep. The beds are pretty comfortable, with ample and clean linens. You can hear the waves and nearby sea lions at night, which is pretty cool! The kitchen is a wonderful meal prep space, however, this time we did notice some deferred maintenance issues that need to be addressed. For some reason they have disconnected the electricity to the hood over the range, so lighting and ventilation is an issue when cooking. Also, there were no hot mitts to be found anywhere this time, which made it extremely precarious to prepare a Thanksgiving meal. We ended up using wash cloths in desperation. Otherwise, we really enjoy the size and layout of the kitchen. The switches for the recessed lighting in the ceiling need replacing however, as the dimmer no longer works, and the lights pulsate due to the defective switches. And, if you plan on spending any time, watching TV, you may want to bring some extra batteries for the remote. Honestly, the remote just needs replacing. As I am recovering from a leg injury, we spent more time than normal relaxing in the home and watching TV, so this was an issue for us. Overall, this is a great place to stay, and we would return again.

Loved the two different floors and the separation for two families. The beach is walkable and the stars looks amazing at night. Lots of towels/cups and glasses which were very appreciated. Most faucets throughout the house were hard to use/turn off water from. Maybe because of rust? Rust was visible throughout much of the metal- maybe replace with non-rusting metal (curtain poles, locks, metal exposed to the exterior, etc.). Downstairs refrigerator did not work for four days. Sand came into the house during a Santa Anna wind storm. Window screens may have been able to help with this. Gets hot downstairs if thermostat is turned on upstairs. All the battery run candles did not work throughout the house. They look nice, but are deceiving. They all have non-working batteries in them.

A week at Silver Strand
We enjoyed every minute, the kitchen was VERY well stocked with most anything you'd need, nice non-hotel feeling linens and towels. Was wonderful sitting in the living room with both the double doors open to the balcony overlooking the beach. Great high end appliances. We felt right at home and settled in, went for bike rides in the nice neighborhood and the Harbor. Would highly reccommend.

Home was beautiful in a safe neighborhood. The home didn’t have AC that was a little worrisome but after 2 nights it was fine. I would stay here again.
