4/10 Poor

"I called n texted but no response on early ck in no response to parking No notice that you’d have to park at the area across the way in parking facility that isn’t safe also they charged me parking when I had a handicap free parking would not take off the additional fee when it wasn’t even on there property but the cities . I was not happy with this hotel at all . The only thing good was that there are close places to eat there facility however for food is outrageous but the well over charged cheese cake pistachio was delicious well presented but way over priced for $13.00 the wait was outrageous as well ! I would not come here again until changes are shown . The staff was extremely rude in phone on early ck in n that there so busy with weekend things going on that there wasn’t parking on property . Just very rude . However when I cked in at 2 too see if my room was avail it was indeed ready had been ready for some time but they did not call me even tho I texted I needed early ck in . Nothing was given about use of bikes or anything . Again I don’t think I’ll stay here again ."

"This property was perfect for an overnight trip to Ventura. We went to see a concert at the Majestic Theatre and it was within walking distance to downtown which was great. It was also a super short walk to the beach. Rooms were spacious and clean, much quieter than a lot of hotel rooms where you can hear everything. Breakfast was decent, overall a great stay!"

"Very nice astetics. The rooms were recently remodeled and were very nice. The bed was comfortable. Not a big fan of the sliding farm door for the bathroom. It wouldn't close all the way so sounds could be heard. The door was difficult to open and close also. The pool area was very nice clean and well taken care of. The hotel is right next to the highway which is good for convenience and not so good for sound. There are a big selection of restaurants and shopping very close by. There is a nice restaurant attached to the hotel. The free breakfast was a restaurant within walling distance if the hotel. That was a different experience. On one hand the food was hot. There was a pretty limited amount choices to eat and I felt the need to leave a tip...which isn't free. Overall we had a very good experience and would stay here again if the opportunity arised."

"The service is lacking. We stayed there 7 nights, and the maid service only came one time to clean our room. I called the front desk two times to ask for a cleaning and they said they will clean the room but they never came to clean the room, until I went into the lobby to speak to someone at the front desk to let them know that nobody has come to clean the room. So the lady at the front desk scheduled for our room to be cleaned and the maid service finally cleaned our room on the 6th day of our stay. The customer service is very much lacking here at this Staybridge. I don't think I will stay there again. I also called the front desk on my last night there to request for a wake up call at 4:30am and the wake up call never came. Good thing I set my alarm on my phone."
