"We had stayed at another Quality Inn in Escanaba the night before and were not happy with our rooms there; HOWEVER, THIS Quality Inn was much better! The carpeting was new; the linens were all clean; the parking was convenient; the views of Lake Huron were great; and the shuttle bus service to the marina was helpful and well-run. The bathroom wasn't great, but it was clean. They accommodated our request for adjoining rooms, too!"

"Vey clean, Top notch workout equipment, nice breakfast. Peaceful view, even from the outdoor hot tub. Ferry shuttle is handy as is the lobby bar for a drink or decent bite. Would definitely go back."

"Older but nicely remodeled motel, with lovely grounds. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was very small but clean and functional (seemed like they saved money by not remodeling that). Several firepits with comfy chairs (and firewood to build your own fire). Convenient location close to the ferries to Mackinaw Island (and shuttles available if you don't want to pay to park your car). Only downside is the free breakfast, which was quite basic. No oatmeal (instant or made), two kinds of sugar cereal (no non-sugar varieties), whole milk only (no low fat or skim), .... There's a nice cafe across the road that has many good choices, but obviously not free."
