"I had a fantastic 2-night stay at Meliá Chiang Mai. The location is perfect — the night market, massage shops, rooftop bars, and great restaurants are all within walking distance, which made exploring Chiang Mai really easy.
As a solo traveler I felt very safe staying here, and it was also very convenient for tours since both of my excursions were able to pick me up directly from the hotel.
The food and drinks I ordered were excellent and the service throughout my stay was great. The hotel is definitely on the pricier side, but that’s expected for a 5-star property. I did choose to get massages outside the hotel since they were about 1500 Baht cheaper nearby.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Chiang Mai and would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Chiang Mai.
