"By far the best hotel we have ever stayed in – truly 5 stars! Firstly, thank you. We would like to warmly thank all staff, as every individual we interacted with was phenomenal. So, to give context – I’m kind of fussy. I’ve travelled extensively for 20 years with business, and this has resulted in many disappointing personal holidays, as I want and expect a certain level. When booking holidays, “5 star” clearly means different things to different people, or different locations. Therefore, we knew we wanted to visit Malta, and made sure we did our homework on location and hotel beforehand. If you are younger and enjoy a thriving nightlife, then you have Paceville a short walk away. We wanted a more “resort feel” whilst still being close to stuff – this hit the nail on the head. Transport links are excellent and only a stroll from the hotel. Regarding the hotel – faultless! We actually spent much more time in the hotel than anticipated. Pool great, general SPA and course available were fab, and the paid SPA services were excellent. The Thai restaurant in the hotel was simply awesome. We ate there on the first and the last night. We secured a room with lounge access. WOW!!! What a lounge! I’ve been a loyal IHG member for 25 years and this exceeded any executive lounge I’ve been "

"The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately, there is building work near the hotel but this is out of their control. The rooms are spacious and super clean with a beautiful design. The balcony had a lovely view however was a little small but this isn't an issue for us. The room came with both AC & a fan which is a must for 30 degree weather. All staff are extremely helpful and helped with luggage storage for our bags after checkout (with a ticketing system! Such a simple yet effective system). The pool area is beautiful and sun lounges double up as seating for late night visits to the pool area - with a bar :) The lifts are keycard activated and there's security at the front door to help keep out riff raff. We also ordered room service and my girlfriend is still going on about how good the apple juice was. The food was delightful - our first time getting room service. Unfortunately I can't speak for the restaurant as we didn't eat here but I assume it would be just as good. The restaurant also has a lovely view over the front lounge. Being in the heart of St Julians, we were worried about loud parties, etc however the sound isolation was superior and we had no issues with this our whole stay. Overall I'm happy we spent the little bit extra per night to stay here over some of the cheaper options (The reviews speak for themselves) What a fantastic experience. "

"I've stayed in a few hotels around St Julian's but this is the first time I've gone as a family with small kids. The staff were excellent, and the breakfast selection in our section was great. Gym facilties are very good, there is a games area for kids with PlayStation, TV and some other games though the arcade machine needs a bit of attention. Room service was really fast, good value for money and surprisingly tasty. The area is very busy and is mainly full of tourists. The is no hotel parking but I was able to find a parking spot everyday within 5 minutes walk which was free. There is a car park next door but I think it is €15 a day. I would definitely recommend it. If you're young the clubs and bars outside are everywhere plus the is the usual western fast food places. 5 stars from me as the kids were happy. "
