Hankering to know what "the tiny house" movement is all about? Here’s your chance: this petite retreat has everything you need for a great vacation in “America’s last hometown.”
The location is ideal: Pacific Grove’s charming downtown is just a short stroll away: cafes, restaurants, bistros, galleries, boutiques, antique shops, and a cinema.
Lover’s Point and the Beach House Restaurant are only a few blocks in the other direction, as is the Coastal recreational trail (Cannery Row and the Monterey Aquarium are just over a mile away).
This cheery, compact cottage has one bedroom and a bath with a shower. There’s a small patio out back with a dining table, four chairs, a bench and a barbecue.

This is a great location, with a 10 minute walk to the ocean, downtown and the Monday farmers market.The house had everything we needed and was quiet at night. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed this lovely “Tiny House.” Very clean, well appointed and cozy. The bed was super comfy! Close to the ocean a nice walk up the trail to the Old Fisherman’s Wharf and Cannery Row.

Wonderful, perfectly located home

Home is perfectly located, quiet area but very short walk to PG downtown and Lovers Point beach and shoreline trail. While called tiny, it is actually spacious and has everything you may need (including washer and dryer). It was clean, gets a lot of light and airs out nicely in the evening if you're there during hot days. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The Tiny House perfectly suited our needs: cozy, very clean, and fabulous proximity to the downtown and the water. The amenities were many - dishwasher, washer/dryer, nice oven and spacious fridge. A perfect getaway for two people. We even entertained our daughter and partner for dinner! We will definitely book this place the next time we come to Pacific Grove.

Sweet cottage in perfect location.

The Tiny House is more like a cottage or bungalow. Spacious for two people. Nice having a washer and dryer. And a nice full kitchen. Location is amazing, a few blocks from Lovers Point and trail along the bluffs and an easy walk into Monterey. Lots of restaurants very near by. Owner Kyle was super responsive to a couple questions we had. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Simple and Quaint

This is the third time we have stayed at A Tiny House. We wondered if it felt small on the inside the first time we stayed from the exterior pictures, but it feels like a normal-sized one bedroom house. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. A quick walk to Lover's Point and the walk along Ocean View. We'll be back!

A big tiny house!

Even though it’s tiny, it has plenty of room for two people with a good sized bedroom, kitchen, living room, and bathroom. The location is excellent in a very quiet neighborhood where a car passes by about once every 10 minutes. Yet, it’s a short 5-10 minute walk to the shops of Pacific Grove. It’s also a similar short walk to the beach in the other direction. It took about 25 minutes to do the VERY SCENIC walk to the Monterey Bay Aquarium along the ocean/bay. It’s a short drive to Carmel and another short drive beyond to Big Sur. Check-in and communication worked well. Yes, we’ll be back!

Family Vacation for Small Family

My wife, daughter (21 months), and I enjoyed a 3 day stay at this property. It’s perfect for walking to Lovers Point and the Aquarium. The property was great, plenty of living room space, kitchen was stocked with the cooking essentials, and the bedroom was great for us 3. Our daughter slept in the bed with us. A pack and play or portable crib would fit in the living room but would likely be tight in the bedroom. There is a small park about a 3 minute walk from the house. We would definitely stay here again as a couple or as a family of 3 (maybe 4, if one child sleeps in the living room).

Almost perfect!

Fantastic location--not really even that tiny--clean and comfy and great alternative to a hotel room. Only real issue was the the smell of cigarette smoke. It wasn't overwhelming--but you definitely noticed it each time we walked in. Also--would be great to have a small desk and chair--someplace to sit and work on your laptop. And a mat to wipe your feet on when you come in would be helpful. But those are just nitpicks. If they can mitigate the smoke smell, we would definitely stay there again.

Bigger than you might think

Although its called A Tiny House, and by a lot of standards it IS tiny, we found there was more than enough room for two of us with decent sized living, kitchen and sleeping areas. Even the parking , described as 'small car only', was big enough for our rented 7-seater Chrysler Voyager people carrier. Anything wider than that probably wouldn't get in but there is plenty of on-street parking outside, so there are no parking issues to worry about at all. The house is well-equipped, very clean and tidy and in a quiet neighbourhood only a couple of minutes walk from Lover's Point. We enjoyed staying here and would do so again, so if you are a couple or travelling solo this property is all you need and we highly recommend it.
