Beachouse - Pacific Grove Beach House - Amazing Oceanview

Set sail for the ultimate vacation! Perched like a ship atop the powdery white sands of the Asilomar Dunes, this beach house features luxe furnishings, a modern kitchen, a sheltered patio, and ocean views. Upstairs there's a master suite with a Cal King bed and a second guest room with a Queen; the lower floor has a third bedroom with two twins and a media room with a pull-out sofa. There are five flat panel TVs in the home.   Asilomar Beach - at the gateway to Pebble Beach - offers some of the most stunning scenery on the California coast. Spend your days at the sheltered cove at the end of the street. Take long walks on the boardwalk. Play golf, visit the Aquarium, or surrender to the charms of Carmel. At close of day, head to Spanish Bay for a sunset libation. Then come home, light a fire, and fall asleep to the sounds of the surf. NOTE: This is a quiet residential neighborhood (no loud noise or events are permitted) in an environmentally sensitive area. The California Coastal Commission does not allow walking on the dunes, as plants can easily be damaged - but there is a great sandy beach just down the road for your enjoyment.  Pacific Grove Transient Use License #143

Spectacular. We had a beautiful Thanksgiving week in Pacific Grove. The house is perched in the dunes overlooking Monterey Bay. The kitchen has plenty of work area for cooking. The local deer greeted us outside the back patio each morning and evening. We hope to return to the beach house again someday.

The location was perfect. The views from the master bedroom were phenomenal. Sleeping with the windows open to sounds of the surf was so relaxing. The decor, the layout, the deer(!) coming right up to the patio...it was a wonderful experience.

It was awesome!!!

This place was absolutely perfect for our vacation. The golf course was nearby for my parents who enjoy golfing, and it was an ideal location for my husband and kids who love the beach. It was clean, and the night views were especially stunning. We plan to come back next time.

The Boathouse

We loved our stay at the Boathouse! The home itself if wonderfully decorated, meticulously maintained and extremely well stocked.! We enjoyed watching the deer sitting in the dunes around the house. The location is perfectly located to Asilomar Beach!

Beautiful Home

We have stayed in this home twice and have loved it each time. Plenty of dishes, pots, pans etc to cook and entertain for our family. We had two couples and one elderly mother stay and all enjoyed their time. Beautiful views. We look forward to renting again in the future.

The perfect place to relax and recharge

A very special and unique neighborhood at the amazing Asilomar Beach. This house offers stunning panoramic views. We basked in the luxurious comfort of our temporary home, enjoying cooking in the well appointed kitchen, gazing out the huge windows at the view and taking long walks along the ocean. Perfect Stay at Asilomar

We rented the house as a home base for a family trip to Monterey. It's in a perfect location - close to Monterey and to Pacific Grove, Carmel and Big Sur. The house is spectacular! Super clean, easy to check-in, easy to find things in the house, effortless check-out. Great communication with property managers, as well. Highly recommended!

Dreamy beach house

This house is so much better than the pictures. The kitchen is a cooks dream. The master bathroom is wonderful!! Pacific Ocean views from maybe every room. It is very clean and it was a relaxing enjoyable stay for our family of 5 for four nights. It is close to the aquarium, Pebble Beach and Carmel - so lots of great places in a short distance. Also, there is a beach right across the street. There were large mule deer that would come into the yard in the evenings and mornings which was wonderful. Maybe one of the best VRBO properties we have ever stayed in! Did not want to leave and will definitely rent again if we ever come back.

Beautiful Home w/ Wonderful View

Nice size home, clean, with convenient amenities. Ample deer to view as they fed and rested outside the dining room window. Saw at least six bucks, a few does and a couple of fawns. They were our closest neighbors that came around often but never uninvited. The ocean view off the master bedroom was spectacular as well as from the sides. Loved being around the sand dunes with all of the other wildlife. Time well spent! Thank you for your hospitality.

The best house we've ever rented for a conference.

Nothing about this house disappoints. The knives are even sharp! I went with a small group of math teachers, and everything about the house was perfect for "colleagues going to a conference at Asilomar." The location is perfect. 10 minute walk to the conference grounds. 4 minute walk to the beach. EPIC sunset views. Well-kept bedrooms. Fluffy towels. The great room is a nice size. Really, if this is your budget, I can't imagine a nicer house. I've been going to a particular conference at Asilomar for 14 years, and have rented many nice houses in Pacific Grove, Carmel, and Carmel-by-the-Sea. This one wins. PS--There are a lot of deer.

Pacific Grove Beachhouse Among The Dunes

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the house in Pacific Grove among the dunes. We were visited daily by deer, squirrels, rabbits, and birds in the front and back yards, and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck watching them. The other houses amog the dunes are spread out, so there is a sense of privacy on the deck. The beach was just one street over, viewed from the living room and bedroom as well as easily reached by a quick walk. The house was comfortable with great decor and very clean but could have used more lighting in the master bath, space heaters (due to delayed heating of concrete floors), and some niceties like cozy throws, a full length mirror, and opportunity to compost trash. We appreciated the labels and instructions throughout house but would have like some about recycling. The shower, gas fireplace, and TVs worked well. The laundry center was very appreciated, as we didn't have to pack as much on our trip. The property was conveniently close to groceries, gas station, downtown PG, and Monterey Bay Aquarium/Cannery Row, and one hour or less from Big Sur, Point Lobos, Carmel, etc. Overall, we had a fun and relaxing time and recommend the Pacific Grove Beachouse to all.

Anniversary Trip

My husband and I came to spend our anniversary together. The house was beautiful and plenty of space! We had to rearrange some things and were looking for suggestions on things in the area, for both we messaged through Vrbo and didn’t receive any response. I had to email directly the house manager. We would have liked a variety of pillow options (feather, firm, less fluffy) and we also thought the bed in the master was very firm. That is a preference so may not matter to others but it affected our quality of sleep. It was well stocked and in a great location. We enjoyed the easy drive to most areas. The master suite is beautiful, although the shower water didn’t get very hot and there was little water pressure. The WiFi didn’t reach well so you aren’t able to get much in the master or stream with the awesome tv in there due to the poor connection. For the price of the house it seems these things would be considered especially for those that require an internet connection. All that being said, if you are looking to relax, disconnect, enjoy wildlife and the beautiful coast of California then this is an amazing option. It’s good for a family with lots of room and bathrooms.
