"Well fitted lounge and kitchen area which was very clean and well presented. Main bedroom was snug, 2nd bedroom would easily accomodare 3 children and bathroom was well fitted but with very temperamental shower. The whole propety was very clean and had the best towells I have ever come across in any accommodation! "Great location as just a short walk on the flat to the beautiful Harlyn Bay Beach and coast path. House is clean, comfortable and as described in the details. Very responsive host who is helpful. We had a really good time and would definitely recommend The Beach Lodge."

"Wonderful and cosy place. So quiet and peaceful as well. The little galley kitchen really made me want to cook dinner there but we were only on a long weekend and there are too many great places to eat and drink all within easy distance - plus fish n chips on the beach as the sun sets. Really easy to find the place and once you’re there it’s such a simple walk back along the drive and you’re at the beach. Lovely coastal walks in both directions from the property as well.If you like to mix it up then there’s not just Porthcothan beach on your doorstep but you have really easy drives to Harland Bay, Mother Ivy’s, Constantine Bay, Booby’s Bay, Mawgan Porth and Watergate Bay. The coastal walk up around the headland above Tregirls is particularly beautiful. We ate at Rafferty’s in St Merryn (superb), The Cornish Arms also in St Merryn (very nice) and then got our fish n chips from Padstow as we know they’re very tasty from there and stay hot enough on the short drive back to Porthcothan to enjoy them al fresco.Jane was lovely- easy comms and we had no problems during our stay at all. Suffice to say we will be looking to rebook later in the year."

"We had the best time the bungalow is very spacious and tidy has everything you need your close to shops and takeaways and the beaches are mins away in a car and there beautiful the pool is amazing so lovely and warm I have zero faults with our stay the hosts were both extremely friendly and polite and super helpful with anything we needed we will 💯 be staying there again"

"The staff were all incredibly cheery and helpful. The food was excellent (coleslaw to die for!). The local beer, Hicks, was a good temperature. Fantastically cheap breakfast of anything! Dogs welcome in any room. England World Cup game was televised but the supporters were put in a large TV room away from the residents."
