The staff was friendly and professional. Even though we had a room, the amenities are more like a cabin stay—no glasses or cups for coffee; no shampoo or soap. The bed was comfortable—the front porch swing was a plus. The highway was busy during the day, but, quiet at night. There were restaurants within walking distance. The unit is minutes from Land Between the Lakes. A good choice for a night or two.

The owners are super friendly and welcoming. This is a great, affordable, option if you need a clean, pet-friendly stay near Murray or LBL. The accommodations aren’t anything fancy and have some age on them, but the genuine hospitality of the owners makes up for it. Will definitely be staying again!

It was a neat place. The Wi-Fi didn't work on my T-Mobile phone and the shower was very small. Other than that I really enjoyed my stay and the prices were very reasonable.

Left a day early...........

We actually left a day early..... We had intended to stay until Monday, but decided to leave Sunday morning. I think our biggest issue were the beds.... they were VERY uncomfortable as all of them sagged in the middle, actually not allowing my wife and I to sleep together. You stated that they were queen beds, but they were definitely full size beds..... I've stayed in the Aurora area several times over the years and understand that this area has older units, but the beds we had were acceptable. I did have plenty of parking in front of our room, which was nice!! Your place is close to a couple of boat ramps which is nice as well...

Very nice and cozy stay. We stayed during winter so pool closed. Kids did try to play game of pool but couldnt find the balls for it or the ping pong table. Our first night we did have a local visitor. He just walked in when i opened door cuddled with kids n then left (cat). Wont lwt me add pic

The owner first is wonderful to work with. Very helpful and kind and funny. The cottage and motel room were good and comfortable. More than we expected, wish we had found this place years ago. Price is pretty fair as well.

Our stay overall was good. I just had a couple of things that didn't sit well with me. First night we arrived, no one was there in the office, a person who stays there tells us the owner of the property is not there, was at a funeral. Was understanding, but didn't sit well kind of. I didn't like not paying right away and signing in. But I got over that, once I met with owner and she was very friendly and super nice! Our room was small but comfortable. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable. Although we could hear the people in next room, they had a dog and could hear then get onto it. Overall our stay suited our needs and we had a good time.

Very disappointed. The cottage was very old and smelled musty.I bought air freshner spray to try to get rid of the smell. There were roaches in the kitchen. The kitchen window had a curtain rod but no curtain. The bathroom had one curtain that the bottom was cut off of. Baseboards were missing on part of the walls. I wish I had taken pictures to show the condition of this cottage.
