Easy access from motorway, easy parking ( if the area immediately in front of the hotel is full, go back out onto the road and there’s another area just to the side ), friendly reception, clean comfortable room, good wifi, good breakfast and a free drink when we arrived. "Really nice art deco hotel next to the train station, 5 minutes walk to the canal and 10 minutes walk to the centre. The beds were extremely comfortable! Good breakfast too. "

"I chose this hotel for an overnight stop on our way home from a holiday in Italy. I liked the peace and quiet of the rural setting. I also liked the old-fashioned feel of the hotel (it still used lock & key to open the room door) The rooms were clean, the bathroom spacious and my husband & I preferred that the toilet was separate.
