"We enjoyed our stay in the rainforest cottage. We liked hearing the frogs sing us to sleep at night and appreciated the beautiful yard and privacy from neighbors. The outdoor shower was an extra bonus. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area."

Enjoyable cottage with free private parking in charming Pāhoa

"The cottage had everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoy our evenings after working much of the day. The bed and bedding were the most comfortable ever. Before we left, I checked brand markings because the mattress was perfect, the sheets were high quality, and the light blanket was buttery soft. There is space for hanging clothes and several drawers for folded items. We were able to unpack and live as though we were at home. The patio area is breezy and relaxing. We used the charcoal grill multiple times. The lawn is perfectly manicured and there is a chain link fence with gate and lock to secure the property (although it felt very safe no matter). There is a laundry room that is easy to access and free. Shareef was super communicative and responsive to us. He was friendly and willing to share suggestions or answer our questions. Overall, it was a very nice stay for an excellent price."

"This is an amazing place that felt like home. It's tucked away in a lovely local community and is a wonderful place to come back to after a long day exploring. We especially appreciated the little things like cold water and ice waiting when you walk in the door. Of course, all the beach supplies came in super handy. To be honest, we were a little nervous from other reviews about the sound of the frogs, but don't let that scare you away! They kind of sing you to sleep at night, and they are cute if you can find one on the yard! Love this place and would definitely stay again if we are back on this side of the island!"

"We enjoyed our stay in this huge home.. The large kitchen Is a good place to cook meals together and the yard was the perfect place to enjoy them. The kitchen and bathroom were stocked well. There are AC units in the lower bedrooms, many ceiling fans and moveable standing fans for other places in the house. It’s a good place for multiplecouple or families to spend time together."
