The room was tidy, clean, and well presented on arrival, which we really appreciated. The temperature in the room was also very comfortable, creating a nice environment to relax in after a long day.
However, we did expect the coffee mugs to be changed or refreshed during the stay, which didn’t happen. Also, the bedding was not ideal — only a duvet was provided, and during the night it became too warm, with no lighter blanket or sheet available as an alternative.
On a very positive note, the reception staff were outstanding. They were always available, friendly, and genuinely willing to help, which made a big difference to our overall experience.
Overall, a pleasant stay with great service at reception, but a few small improvements to room details and bedding would make it even better.

The staff was very attentive, the room was clean, and the all-day coffee was wonderful. Ikonik is located close to the Hop-on-Hop-Off bus. I walked everywhere and went to Hungarian restaurants outside of the tourist spots only because the staff gave great recommendations. I would stay there again!

Hotel Rum is very well located, in a quiet street but still central and with easy access to transportation. The decor is nice and modern, service is professional. Breakfast is served on the rooftop restaurant which offers beautiful views of Budapest.

The staff was wonderful with us. The location was perfect close to everything walking distance. The hotel was open 24 seven which mean you could get a receptionist in the front. They had breakfast which you can pay extra for and a bar. I recommend this hotel if you are choice is Budapest.
