"It was a last minute booking, for only one night. When we arrived we were shown our room, which was beautiful and the view incredible. We had dinner in the tavern across the road. "We had a wonderful stay in the split level sea view 2 bedroom. The only possible downside was that the hotel is expanding and you can hear construction noise during the day. It didn’t bother us. "Very nice apartment, comfortable and clean, with an excellent location right opposite the (only) sandy beach. All staff, including not just the owners but even the cleaners, were friendly and welcoming. Slightly more expensive than some alternatives, which reflects the location, but two factors make it excellent value: it has its own sunbeds on the beach which are free to guests. When you consider that other providers charge around 30 euros a day for a set of 2 beach beds with umbrella, this offers serious value. From these sunbeds you can order food and drink delivered to your seat from the best restaurant on the beach (in my opinion). Secondly, the wifi is quick and reliable. Based on 3 previous stays in Paleochora this is by no means guaranteed in alternative properties."
