"We have stayed at the Peninsula Resort for four nights, and it has been one of the best resort experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The front desk team was incredibly kind, welcoming, and caring. As this was our first visit to Crete, they made us feel right at home. A special thank you to Aman, Sofia, Effie, Fotini, and Tony for their outstanding service and genuine warmth throughout our stay. We would also like to recognize Chef Stelvio, Christian, and the restaurant team. I have a gluten allergy, and Chef Stelvio took time during a very busy service to personally explain how the food was labeled and what options were safe for me to enjoy. That level of care and attention meant so much and allowed me to relax and fully enjoy our meals. Everyone greeted us with a smile and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The beautiful resort, amazing service, and genuine kindness of the staff made this a truly unforgettable experience. Also the room we stayed at was super clean, exactly like the pictures show. The cleaning staff are all very sweet, fast and thorough.Maria especially went above and beyond always greeting us. Couldn't believe how fast our room got cleaned, went to breakfast, came back and it was done! We can't wait to come back. Thank you, Peninsula Resort, for a wonderful stay!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Village Heights Resort. The staff were amazing and looked after us well. The food was great, with plenty of choice to choose from, including the variety of restaurants they have. Rooms were of good size and were cleaned daily. Only downside was the bathrooms could be modernised. Good views of the sea. The free shuttle bus from the hotel to the centre of Hersonissos was very helpful. The hotel also had lots of entertainment on offer, particularly the Cretan Night, where they had live music and a dancing show. Overall, would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to relax and be away from the centre of it all."

"My daughter and I stayed at the Aquila Atlantis Hotel during our visit to Heraklion. While it didn't have the unique character and intimate atmosphere of some of the boutique hotels we stayed at elsewhere in Greece, it was still a comfortable and convenient place to stay. The hotel's biggest strengths are its location and amenities. It was easy to walk to many of Heraklion's attractions, restaurants, and the waterfront, making it a good base for exploring the city. The property is modern, well-maintained, and offers the services and facilities you would expect from a larger hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for our needs. The staff was professional and helpful throughout our stay, and check-in and check-out were both smooth and efficient. For travelers looking for a full-service hotel in a central location, Aquila Atlantis is a solid choice. It may not offer the charm, history, or personalized feel of a boutique property, but it delivers what it promises: a comfortable stay, good service, and a convenient location for exploring Heraklion. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to visitors who prefer a larger hotel experience or need a convenient base before exploring the rest of Crete."
