Our stay in Palau

We had a very pleasant stay in Palau. It was early in the season, and therefore quiet in the surroundings. Garden was well maintained, birds were singing in the old olive tree. View on the sea very nice. House is comfortable, not fancy, but with all the relevant equipment for the stay. Beds are good! but you need to ask/buy for the bed linen and towels which are not included. Pam is a good host, and responds to emails very quickly. Very helpful with relevant information. Points of improvement: A bottle of water in the fridge would help if you have a late arrival, as the water is not really drinkable. For cooking it is OK. Cushions on outside chairs are moldy, but newer ones can be found in the house. Eurospin supermarket is very nearby, but during our stay not noisy and convenient.

Lage, Lage, Lage

Wir verbrachten 11 angenehme Nächste in dieser sehr gut gelegenen Ferienwohnung. Diese befindet sich ca. 10 Minuten fußläufig vom Stadtzentrum. Sie liegt etwas außerhalb des Zentrums auf einem Berg. Der Supermarkt Eurospin ist direkt gegenüber, was für uns sehr praktisch war. Pamela war bei Fragen immer erreichbar, Wir hatten zunächst Schwierigkeiten die Schlüsselbox zu finden, aber mit ihrer Unterstützung fanden wir die Box relativ schnell. Bettwäsche und Handtücher bestellten wir im Vorfeld für einen Aufpreis. Die Abende verbrachten wir gerne auf den Liegestühlen auf der Terasse. Man hat einen wunderbaren Blick. Die Kinder spielten gerne im gepflegten Garten mit Olivenbaum. Die Ausstattung hätte etwas üppiger sein können. Wir hätten uns z.B. über Seife, etwas mehr Toilettenpapier oder Spülmittel gefreut. Über neue Pfannen würden sich weitere Besucher sicherlich auch freuen.

Schöne Unterkunft mit Luft nach oben

Wir haben uns elf Tage in der Unterkunft aufgehalten. Die Wohnung ist sauber und sehr zentral gelegen. Was uns etwas gestört hat, war dass die Unterkunft direkt an einer Straße liegt, wo schräg gegenüber ein Supermarkt ist. Dementsprechend ist dort relativ viel los. Nach unseren bisherigen Erfahrungen ist die Unterkunft etwas spärlich ausgestattet. Wir hätten z. B. gerne gewusst, dass es dort keine Bettwäsche und Handtücher ( und auch nur ein Geschirrhandtuch) gibt. Dies ist bei der Ausstattung im Inserat zwar auch nicht angegeben, aber, da es- zumindest nach unseren bisherigen Erfahrungen- unüblich ist, dass das Zeug selbst mitgebracht werden muss, sollte im Inserat darauf hingewiesen werden. Wir mussten uns dann Handtücher und Bettwäsche vor Ort selber kaufen. Pamela hat uns aber dabei unterstützt und uns Tipps gegeben, wo wir einkaufen können etc. Ansonsten ist in der Küche alles an Geschirr da, was benötigt wird. Der in Inserat angegebene Toaster ist allerdings eine Art kleiner Tischgrill, in dem man nur ein Scheibe toasten kann. Wir haben dann immer den Backofen zum toasten genommen. Bezüglich der Sauberkeit gibt es eigentlich nichts zu bemängeln. Was uns aber etwas gestört hat, war, dass es in den Schränken etwas muffig gerochen hat. Das Bett in dem kleineren Schlafzimmer ist bequem und man kann dort gut schlafen.

Schöne und praktische Unterkunft

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in Palau. Die Kommunikation und der Check-In waren super und alles hat wie abgesprochen funktioniert. Trotz einer direkten Straßenlage ist es sehr ruhig. Der Garten ist sehr schön und die Wohnung sauber und gepflegt. Zu bedenken gilt (insbesondere bei Kindern), dass die Wohnung auf einem Berg liegt. (10 Minuten bis zum Stadtzentrum)

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit sehr guter Ausstattung.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Pams Unterkunft, die sehr gut ausgestattet ist. Oft sind in den Häusern sehr wenig Geschirr/Gläser, Pfannen/Töpfe und Besteck etc. vorhanden bzw. in geringerer Qualität vorhanden, hier war alles bestens, genug von allem und in guter Qualität. Auch wenn die Unterkunft in der Nähe eines Supermarkts liegt (Anliefer- und Kundenverkehr) haben wir das nicht als so störend wahr genommen. Die Kommunikation mit Pam war problemlos, Pam hat immer schnell geantwortet und auch von sich aus erinnert, wenn noch etwas offen war. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder diese Unterkunft buchen.*****

CONSIGLIATISSIMO!!!

La villetta, nella zona alta di Palau, è ampia e ben fornita (lavatrice e lavastoviglie comprese). E' comoda al supermercato e ha un parcheggio interno con posto auto riservato. Bellissimo e ben curato il giardino che la circonda e sul quale si affacciano il soggiorno sul davanti e le due camere (entrambe matrimoniali) sul retro. Noi abbiamo pranzato quasi sempre all'aperto, sotto l'ampio portico riparato e con la vista del mare in lontananza. Pam è stata molto professionale e gentilissima, ci ha suggerito escursioni, locali, spiagge e curiosità della zona. Molto disponibile anche la Signora Giacomina che ci ha accolti all'arrivo. Grazie ancora!!!

Appartamento perfetto!

L'appartamento è estremamente curato nei dettagli e dotato di ogni confort. Pulizia impeccabile e giardino estremamente curato. La posizione è ideale, vicinissima dai servizi ed allo stesso tempo tranquilla e silenziosa. Pamela, la proprietaria, si è dimostrata gentilissima e ci ha regalato consigli utilissimi per la nostra vacanza. Spero di poterci ritornare presto!

Schöne Wohnung mit tollem garten

Die Wohnung ist geräumig und sauber. Ein grüner Garten mit schattiger Veranda und Blick auf das Meer und St. Maddalena Insel. Ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in der Umgebung. Wir haben einen wunderbaren Bootsausflug gemacht. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar. In den Ortskern läuft man ca 15 Minuten den Berg hinunter. Der Strand ist in 5 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar.
